I have a new 69 plate sport line civic and i have had troubles with the brakes squeaking while moving slow when the brakes are hot. Been told by honda there is nothing they can do. What are your recommendations?

2016 and 2018 Civic LX in the family, no brake issue.
Squeak is not normal from any brand of pad.
    IMO it could be fixed.

Are brakes need to be lubricate ? Or something else ?

I don't know, but brake pads with new material making squeek is not acceptable. It is a downgrade

well honda are not willing to do anything as they sa=y it is a characteristic of the car and is not a manufacturing issue

The 2013 Acura ILX had the infamous brake squeal. Took Honda a couple of years to have them put a TSB. The fix was to replace the rotors but for your issue. Maybe the pads might be able to fix your issue, if not then it might be the rotors.
