Here's a video of the noise
I think it's a flywheel/clutch noise and it is probably related to the issues I've read with the stock clutch not holding the torque of a tune (I do plan on changing it in the next 6 months or so). I just wanted to confirm this to make sure it's not something I should be really worried about. It happens in 3rd gear if I pull from like 45-50mph to redline only when I'm engaged in sport mode on a stage 1 TSP tune. It doesn't do it when not in sport mode and running basically factory settings. Every other gear is fine or if I shift from 2nd to 3rd at 55mph it doesn't do it... it's only when you're kind of cruising in 3rd then step on it. Is this just flywheel chatter or like the clutch slipping because of the tune?
update - It actually does do it even on a stock tune in 3rd gear only. Here's another video of the noise
It sounds like something rotating is hitting something else... my first thought is like a heat shield or something is being hit because of a flexing piece somewhere.
Any ideas?
