Hi everyone, I've been doing some searching and have to yet find any reviews or people with an upgraded exhaust on the new Si. I'm looking at my options as far as getting a few extra horses on the new Si.

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know your only bolt on exhaust option currently available would be a downpipe, specifically one that eliminates the cat. It will help your turbo spool earlier. The best bang for your buck mod if you have not already done it is going to be an ECU tune. I personally recommend Ktuner for this platform.

Thanks! I will look into KTuner. I'm assuming the catless downpipe is gonna make for a pretty noisy ride though?

Not if you have the stock mufleres. I'm running catless with tinny magnaflow straight throughs and it's not even that bad.

On the sport hatchback exhaust it brought the exhaust to an actually audible level compared to the factory setup but it's far from loud, nothing like even a mild aftermarket setup.

If getting a cat version is the only option. Is a down pipe a waste for this vehicle in terms of getting more power from a tune?

I probably wouldn't bother but you may want to check with someone like Vit first to confirm.
