Hey guys!! New to the forum! I recently purchased a 2017 Civic Hatch a few weeks ago and of course last night someone backed into it ‍♂. Wondering what you think the best way to go about repairing it would be? I believe the color is lunar silver so I’m going to try and go to my dealership after work and see if touch up paint would be the best bet but if anyone has a better method please let me know!

I also just recently backed into a trash can and had a few minor scratches.... I purchased the touch up paint at the dealership (cosmic blue), but am unsure if thats the best way to fix. My scratch is not as bad as OP's but i have a few minor ones

Touch up paint almost always looks like shit once dried. Especially on something like this that has actual gouges into the paint / plastic.
Please get this repaired the proper way, at a body shop.

Thanks! I took it to the shop and the work should be done sometime next week. Thankfully the other person’s insurance covered everything and I’m getting a rental for the time it’s in the shop
