I am looking to upgrade the stock speakers in my 2017 EX Sedan so that they provide more bass as I listen to a lot of electronic music with very low end frequencies that seize to exist in the stock Civic compared to the Bose system that came stock in my MX-5 Miata. I am also trying to do this the cheapest way possible. Can I upgrade just the front speakers or will I need to get a subwoofer in addition to that as well? Any tips and recommendations are greatly appreciated as I have never upgraded car speakers before.
One major concern of mine (regardless of the type of upgrade) is the rattling that exists by plastic surrounding the rear speakers (just above the trunk). I can clearly hear it when I hit the plastic and it drives me nuts. Is this common on all sedans? How can I stop this rattle if so?
Thank you!
