I am planning on installing a powered sub in my 2017 hatchback next week.
Here's my plan as follows:
Here's my plan as follows:
- Install an 8 gauge amp wiring kit going from the battery, through the grommet near the brake pedal, under the panels on the floor on the drivers side, and into the hatch.
- Connect the wires from the battery to the P300-10.
- Tap into the front speakers and accessory with 9-wire at the wiring harness behind the stock head unit using Quick Splice connectors. I'll be using the accessory wire as a remote for the LC2i and the p300-10.
- Run 9-wire under the panels on floor on the passenger side to an Audio Controls LC2i that will be mounted in the trunk.
- Run 16 gauge positive, negative, and remote wires from the LC2i to the P300-10.
- Run ground cables for the sub and LC2i to an as-of-yet unknown location (suggestions?)
