2017 Civic EX Hatchback In New Sonic Gray Pearl - First Dealership Photos

Looks like the hatches have already began arriving at dealerships. One of my local dealerships gave me an ETA of 09-23 though 09-27 for the four hatches they have coming in. I'm leaning towards getting an EX just like the one in the pic. I believe these pics were taken at a dealership in Virginia.

Thanks for the pics! I was hoping this was the color but seeing these, maybe not. The Sport also looks good in white, blue, even red (not my color though).

I normally like most matte finish cars; but I'm just not feeling this one. Something about the side profile...front and rear look okay.

I think it's the rims throwing it off...makes it look a bit "cheap" since they are mostly closed off which ends up making them look a bit like steelies.

It's definitely not matte, but I know what he's getting at. It doesn't look quite metallic or even glossy until the sun hits it right. I personally love the color, I'm one of the lunatics who went for EGP though

Waiting to see it in person, it might not photograph well in harsh sunlight.

Tbh I think we've just seen too many pictures of the Sport Touring and all it's hyped up features, and now that you see an EX model with small wheels, halogen lights, no exhaust tips, it looks underwhelming. Remember, the Sport Touring was marketed to be more premium than the sedan and it is, but are the EX/base models as impressive? No obviously

Hopefully PMM (Polished Metal Metallic) doesn't look that bad...

I want to like this car but in every pic I've seen it just looks too "bulky". The sedan and coupe just flow better. I guess I prefer the more traditional hatch styling. Maybe the car looks better in person.

Yes!!!! I went to my local dealer today to see if they had any, but they didn't. Glad to see someone posted some real-life photos. I have a feeling Ill like it much better in person than based on the press photos. My salesman told me they'll be getting some in any day now. Im trying to decide between a Sport hatch, EX-T sedan, or a used Mazda 3 sGT hatch.

glad i went with the sedan instead of the hatchback. I would be pretty pissed had i waited for this.
