2017/2018 FK8 CTR official factory production count??

I've gotten multiple answers on this topic and everyone has said something different to say.

Does anyone know what the official factory production count is?
Are the serial numbers running in series or will they reset on the 2018 models?

I don't know the answer to the first question, but the serial numbers are not reset. My 2018 is #6024 and it was in the very first boat from the factories.

I thought the same too, and that's the number I've seen thrown around. What I'm really wondering is are the serial numbers shared worldwide or are they per region/spec?

Well that just throws a wrench into the whole thing, now doesn't it? My 2018 literally just arrived at the Brunswick, GA port about two weeks ago and it's #6024.. yet he bought his in October and it's over 7000.

I'm willing to bet the european market has their own set of serial numbers.

I doubt that. Sofar, I haven't seen numbers lower than 3000 in Europe. They are in the range 3000-8000.

hm. well, now that I think about it it's not like they go to the boat the day they're produced, it's likely mine was just produced before his but didn't actually get shipped until after the GT versions went out to euros.

How do you see it's a 2018 model. They are produced in september/october 2017.

The models they are selling now in Europe with numbers above 7000 or 8000 are just called 2017 models. In january 2018 they will call it 2018 models.

Lot's of people are speculating that they just pick a random number badge from a bucket, since they don't correlate with VINs or deliveries

ive got #7489 and i purchased it in early November..dealer told me it was the first batch of the 2018 models?
