imo the color of this board is warmer than OEM. I'm having wiring issues with this board and hasn't figured out.

I've been curious about these myself. I installed RGB strips in mine. I wish I had bought a better quality strip, but these do look nice. Looking at the quality difference between my strip and the XB halos... The Morimoto XB strips would have been a better choice.

I’ve been looking into this also. I already bought the universal profile switchback sequential boards for the turn signal in my led headlights but this looks good too. I have emailed them for instructions. It says it plugs into factory location within the housing but the RGB has a driver that I believe mounts outside the headlights. I don’t know if I want to drill the headlights and risk moisture issues.

Nope, don't buy this DRL board. It is dimmer than OEM drl , unless you into RGB stuff.

I compared them side by side, stock DRL is brighter and whiter/cooler in color temperature.

So what did you end up doing to yours?
Went back to stock.
I think top portion of stock drl is very bright and unique, but the bottom tube is weak. I thought about using diode dynamic strip and mount it on top of the tube. The problem is the strip does not flex side to side. So it will not line up with the tube nor to the lens.

These DRL from trs aftermarket headlight are the brightest. I don't think they use tube like stock ones. The output look very evenly. Judging by that, I think they use more than 3 LEDs and place them across the DRL board.

Yeah and they sell those for over 1k. I only like the DRL in those. I don’t like the headlight part. Personally I thought it looks comical but I’m sure the light output is good.

$1000 is a hefty price, but it's not unreasonable at all. There is 4 projectors in that lamp + DRL + housing + it's already assembled. To me that's (4*$200)+$80+$300+$200 worth of product.

Headlights can get expensive. I've got about $700 wrapped up into mine with HIDs, lamps, halos, DRL strip, and housings (i bought an extra set so I still have my OEMs)
