We just caught our first undisguised look at the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe!

Out testing ahead of its LA Auto Show debut next week, the 2016 Civic Coupe prototype wears the same electric lime-green exterior color as the Civic Coupe concept vehicle unveiled earlier this year at the New York Auto Show.

As expected, the production 2016 Civic Coupe has more toned down exterior and remains faithful to the patent filing sketches we showed you earlier this year, including its distinctive wraparound tail lights.

Stay tuned as we bring you LIVE coverage of the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe global debut in less than one week!

LOVE IT! And love that it comes in the concept's color. The rear now looks more balanced with the front since it's nice and short.

Well, we now know what special color the coupe is getting that the sedan isnt. lol

Kind of let down they didn't use the black chrome for the front grill piece, oh well, that's why plasti dip exists.

Wish the pics were better quality, but still, nice to see anything about the coupe after so long not seeing any spy shots etc.

haha. Doubt it's the Si, it's wearing the same rims as the EXL and EXT sedan trims. So i'd assume it's one of those two.

Disappointed they didn't black out the chrome on the coupe. The rear looks a little too bulky IMO.

Overall I actually think the sedan is sharper. Then again, let's wait til we see better pics...

Something seems off. And ew hope the rims are just tester rims. Because I was hoping coupe rim were sportier. I will definitely have to get touring or Si now

After thinking about it some more, a few things make me think it is a EX-S with 1.5T/MT:
    -hidden exhaust like sedans
    -special sporty color
    -chrome nose thingy
-no "wing", just a subtle lip

    - all the spy shots so far of the coupe had hidden exhaust too
    - the coupe always has at least 1 special color the sedan doesn't have
    - chrome is more sporty???
    - the subtle lip is actually the tail light bar

Yeah the more I look at it the more the proportions of the sedan look better. It looks a bit stubby and bubbly

The sedan definitely looks more executive. But I think the coupe still looks sportier.

I'm not really sold on that color... i think it's hurting the design more than helping.
