2016 Civic RUST on wheel hubs between hubcaps PHOTO

Is anybody else having this same issue? I've been looking at other 10th gen Civics and I'm seeing the same issue on a few other cars, but none seem to be as bad.

To me it looks like there is even superficial rusting on all 4 wheels between the hub caps. See attached photo (circled in red). Appreciate any help guys!

With all steel wheels, on any make, rust is normal after a few years...

Also trying to remove these stains from the headliner. Anybody got tips on how easy these will be to remove and what to use? Thanks!

Just wondering, how solid are these stock hubcaps? I used to have hubcaps on my other car, and some are really fragile, I was like expecting to replace at least one every time when the shop has to remove wheels...

No rust on my wife's 2016 Civic steel wheels use in summer only
Winter steel wheels ; light rust where are the hole after 3 winter in salty Canada road

A 1:1 mix of Woolite and water will clean almost anything. Soak the stain, tightly roll a white terry cloth towel and scrub. Easy peasy.

They’re plastic, but fairly durable. They have a metal reinforcement ring around the inside.
I had an LX leased for the last 3 years before I traded it in for an Si. I put 60k miles on the car, took the hubcaps off and on many times and I didn't see much wear or looseness while on the steel wheels. They always snapped on nice and tight. I thought they were pretty ugly though. The 19+ hubcaps look way better.
