Honda has just opened the gates on all information regarding the 2016 Civic Coupe!

In addition to all that was learned in the Coupe Preview Event, photos of the new coupe in all factory colors and our walkaround video, we can now share all the information, specifications, photos and videos we obtained during the press launch and test drive event.

The 2016 Civic Coupe will be on sale in March 2016 in the following trims (also see images below for more info):

Looks like the EX-T is one to get for the coupe in terms of price and features. Gets you the premium audio, fogs and turbo engine without getting leather, which Im sure many buyers will appreciate.

Extrapolating from the owners manual. There's a section about paddle shifters that omit the 'L' gate on the transmission so paddle shift could be available on Canadian if availability wasn't mentioned for US models?

The trim levels for Canada are usually a little different than US trim levels. Does anyone know when those will be published? ....Also Redline reviews stated that Si "will come in 2017", so that seems to confirm what was reported on this blog a few weeks ago. ...i guess there`s still no firm target date for the 1.5T w. Manual either

There's no agreed upon date, but it is believed at this time that the 2017 model years will offer the manual transmission in line with the release of the Si models.

the coupe EXT comes with the 450 watt system, and the sedan EXT doesn't?!

You would think Honda would make the EXT with cvt auto trans only. If you want a manual then Si manual. I have been waiting for the 2017Si to come out. But now knowing the EXT is faster than 9th gen Si??. Im thinking real hard about the EXT with premium audio, heated cloth seats and 17" alloys. I bet its a fun ride.

Generally coupes have been better equipped at certain trim than sedans. On the 9th gen Civic, the non Si coupe was available with the 7 spk 360 watt audio system where the sedan didn't have it at all, even on the EX-L trim.

And the LX trims on the 9th gen coupes came with 6 speakers and the sedan came with 4.

It's partially differences in demographic and i think it's also partially pricing. The coupes are cheaper to produce so they add a few extra features above the sedan trims to equal out the cost as close as possible. The coupe usually ends up being a few dollars cheaper either way.

The coupe and sedan trims should be right in line with each other. So the EXT is going to be $1k more than the EX sedan.

They said prices wouldn't be changing much from the 9th gen, just like with the sedans.

There are a few things I am not digging on the coupe, but I will have to see it in person to be sure.
