I tried digging around for this specific question and I seen these specs done on a civic si sedan and looked great. I guess my question would be is do all Civic X share the same wheel/fender clearances with the exception of the Type R? Thank you for your time.

Here is my Sport Hatch in 6MT

Type R is wider and have no rubbing issues with 9.5 and 265 tires but I don't think this spec will fit on non type r civic. U might try 245 tires but that looks so stretch.

245 on a 9.5 is not stretch... lol They bead on the tire with 0 issues, just inflate.

265 and 35 might be pushing it, i know for a fact you'll be able to run a 255 35 18 no issues. BMSpec runs a 295 30 18 on their car and that doesn't rub (Time attack build)

We already know the Type R has more wheel and fender clearance hence I made an exception for it when I mentioned all Civic X. My question was if ALL Civic X share the same fender/wheel clearance WITH the exception of the Type R. I ask because a member here had done the same specs with his being 5mm more aggressive in offset than my thread title.

245/40 on a 9.5 is indeed a stretch. Even the stock 235/40 on an 8 is a stretch. There's close to 25mm to an inch if we add 1.5 inches from 8 inch width wheel while adding only 10mm from the 235/40 which is less than half an inch will stretch. Any sidewall that is diagonal outwards is a stretch.

Rear no rubbing because it has more clearance but not front. Go and look at your liner tab where it has a screw and close to the side maker unless u have camber @Manfully

You sure about that? You haven't ridden in my car. 2019 si sedan doesn't have the tab by the corner light any more. No rubbing.

265 35 hankook on 18x10+39. Rubs fender liner by front corner light on hard bumps or dips. No tab to mod . Lowered on d2.

Thanks! If it only rubs on hard bumps and dip then 18x9.5 +45 with 265/35 with totally work since 18x10+39 is much more aggressive in comparison! Thanks so much

I was gonna check it out until I found my answer on Instagram LMAO.. I saw a sport hatch rocking a 18x9.5 +35 with the same tires with his wheels being 10mm more aggressive in offset and had no problems whatsoever even being moderately lowered
