I'm looking to run 18x8.5+35 with 245/40R18 pilot sport 4s tires lowered on either skunk 2 springs or Ground Control sleeves. Anyone know if I will have any issue with rubbing with this setup.

I'm dropped a little over an inch with 18x8.5 et36 and 235 40 18 rsrrs which run like a 245 and I don't rub. I do have issues with ground control though!

Oh ok another question since you’re here. Did you use the stock tire on that rim 18x8.5?
In my previous statement I noted that I was running a tire that runs wider than the standard tire. Imagine running a 245 40 18 stock tire.

Yeah sry if it’s a dumb question I’m basically clueless when it come to wheels. The bits and pieces I know are From what I’ve gathered in my research. Will 235/40r18 fit a rim that’s 18x8.5 +35 offset?

An 8.5 generally can run up to 255 and down to about a 215. I personally like having a bit more rubber on my wheels.

Have 10 miles on mine. Hot off the press last night! Also tempted fate with a front sway bar install. 0/5 stars, do not recommend. Handles great though.

This picture says it all...

Eibach springs take some time to settle. About a week out it drops about 1/6", well mine did at least. Not enough to get re aligned if you aligned yours.

Been more of a fan of swift springs because it comes "broken in".

I’m actually freaking out because barley noticeable but I’m weird so I do. My driver side seems lower than passengers

Make sure it's the proper spring rate. Stiffer springs take a different time to break in than softer ones. Make sure the part number is correct, I've had issues running different spring rates at one point and it wasn't pretty.
