Did you adjust the plunger on the Clutch to allow for more throw ( AKA moving the pedal engagement point further up )?

There are a handful of people that have not needed to drop the subframe to install the clutch, Ktuner owner even mentioned this as well that he did not drop the subframe. Its a tight squeeze but possible. Im hoping to do this myself I've got my FX350 in hand just waiting to install it.

But glad you got it in! how are you liking it versus stock? I know it needs to be broken in still but must feel better?

I don't know how they did it without dropping the sub frame but I wish I didn't have to. The clutch you can feel is a more heavy duty clutch. I cant wait to break it in and put some load on it.

Congrats on completing the job yourself. It's a lot of work but you saved some major cash that can be spent on other go fast parts. :drive:

fx300 but its not as bad as you might think just some more pressure to engage.
I also just installed the fx350 and am interested to know how the 300 feels in comparison. @y2kprofesor i would be interested in knowing your thoughts and method for shifting into 1st from a dead stop.

i don't know why but from dead stop is not so smooth it shakes a lot how is yours?

I also have some popping noise when turning to the right from dead stop you?

Clutchmasters stated that the fx300 holds 340 ft/lbs of torque and fx350 is 390 ft/lbs of torque

yeah, i noticed the exact same thing. I think the engagement point is very early in the clutch pedal release throw. Still trying to figure out how much throttle to apply.

I also have some popping noise when turning to the right from dead stop you?
Haven't noticed this yet. will keep a look out though.
