My 1st change was at 1800 miles with Amsoil ss 0w20 and matching filter, may consider a different weight on the next one but not too sure.

Just to clarify, the manual recommends 0w20, 0w30 or 5w30 for Australian 1.5Ts. I have some Amsoil Signature-Series 0w30 lined up for my first oil change.
I don't get why 10w-30 isn't allowable. Is it the tight tolerances? The low NOACK would help the turbo cool off and even the intercooler since that is cooled by the engine oil.

see the 5 point zero NOACK here...

Or maybe mix 2 quarts of this or even 1 quart with 3 quarts of 0w-20?

Guys, I want your input about switching from 0w20 to 5w30. I have an EXT with mishimoto and custom tune 180whp 204torque. By the way I drove it pretty hard last month. Beating mustang v6, audi, 2 door bmw, accord sport, another 4 door audi, and infinity 2 door coupe. I'm very proud!!! :) anyway, I'm a little concern about my oil. I'm on 0w20 full synthetic. Im always top of changing. But here it goes: 6/03/17 21493 100%. 7/5/17 23893 70%.....hmmmmm...Drop some knowledge for ya boi!....please.

Please stop making oil threads with cut/paste things from other sites. Please use real data, like an oil change analysis, so we can not have all the misinformation and BS floating around. Unless you have ACTUAL proof that a certain oil is better, please don't recommend an oil.

Here is my factory oil with 10,000 miles on it. Maintenance Minder said my oil had 15% oil left left.

Currently running AMSOIL SS 0w-20 with Honda Filter. I'm going to run this to 10,000 as well so I can have an apples to apples comparison, but after this I will be changing every 6k (possibly 8k depending on what next report looks like).
This looks amazing! How much would this type oil analysis be? I would like to know the condition of my oil as well.

Oil Analyzers is around $35 to have a sample tested. There is also Blackstone and Polaris Labs that do sample testing too. I've only used Oil Analyzers.

Be sure to check out the database of samples too. This is where we're pooling all the tests the community does so we can keep all the facts in one place.
