@Josh_FC3_Si on insta! JNC033 in Black Chrome from LaCroix Tuning in Quebec, CA, running on 18 x 9.5 +35 with 245/40/18 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's from 4Tires.ca! Eibach ProKit pending install because of Covid so she'll be getting some low soon enough! :)
So pumped for better weather, ordered JNC033 in Black Chrome - 18 x 9.5 +35, going to run 245/40/18 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's on Eibach Pro Kit. Car season can't come quick enough!
I too share the love of carbon! Have cheaper dress up on the interior until I go for a Pegasus Carbon interior kit, have AeroSpecRacing emblems, Synth Carbon mirror caps, a PasswordJDM front cooling plate and coil cover, thinking of more PWJDM goodies in the future!
I've been on the 3+/9+ dual map for a bit over a year, and planning on TSP stage 1 soon, I have almost 30000KM on my 2017 Si coupe which has been mostly spent tuned, I rev match all of my downshifts, roll into power gradually and don't go WOT in 5th-6th nor at low RPM and haven't had a single...
Thus far my luck has been good, no issues, used lubricant on it and hasn't reoccurred thankfully! I'd of been some ticked if I'd had to climb through the trunk with boots filled with salt and crap! I'd warmed it with a hairdryer and blasted some lubricant in so thinking it was a mix of poor...
Wow! Definitely gonna need to give Viper a try! My first factory subs weak point was definitely it popping XD Voice coil and spider separated, went from a bit of rattle to sounding like a bag of smashed A**holes banging around in my trunk :doh:, dealer warrantied it though!
Thanks buddy! :) I have a coil cover and that front cooling plate, both from PasswordJDM! Have carbon emblems from AeroSpecRacing as well! Translucent red filling with a red reflective twill!

Definitely can vouch for the 27Won! Have had water up to my center caps and she's happy as a clam! Hope you're enjoying the car! :)
@Josh_FC3_Si on insta!
I feel it! Mainly have kept it on to spread their name in my area since they always bend over backwards and have stellar service. The local dealer isn't all that great I've found. Appreciate it buddy! :)
I didn't have my Hondahack and all set up to keep an eye on IAT's before putting it on but it does look to channel air down to the intercooler/rad so I'd assume it should have a benefit :) Appreciate it! Yours looks great as well, nice to see another local on here! I'm originally from Halifax
Few more changes since my last post! Now running KTuner 1.2, with hondahack. 3/9+ PSI dual map tune flashed to it right now, Eibach ProKit lowering springs that I'm pending install on, waiting for my emblems from AeroSpecRacing, have a PasswordJDM carbon fiber front cooling plate and coil...
Definitely felt that the engine bay looked a little naked without a cover, splurged on some PasswordJDM carbon fiber goodies (cooling plate and coil cover) on black friday!!
Ouch! :( Probably going to be a 50/50 chance of write off vs repair, depending on the cost of parts and labor. Glad you're in one piece though! Planning on storing my Si for the winter months and getting a little CRV or something as a beater, out in Moncton, NB. Literally half of my friends...
Definitely does have rev hang, I've gotten used to it however have used KTuner to reduce it, you can also switch from the stock dual mass flywheel to a single mass to give a further reduction!
