I tried searching the forums but I couldn't find anything about the topic (though I may have missed it).
Apparently with the EX and above trims one can press the Start/Stop button while the car is in motion. If this is true, is there any reason or benefit for it? I've read that one can turn off...
Same. When I'm inching forward in heavy traffic or to make a turn I tend to turn it off but when I'm at a light I turn it on practically by instinct.
Has anyone confused it when reversing? Sometimes when I switch from drive to reverse to back into a spot the brake hold causes the brakes to stutter.
- Would you upgrade to a higher model?
Only for the turbo. I never drove one but from all I've read they're more fun to drive than the NA. The latter is nice if you're willing to put your foot in it but for enthusiastic driving I'm pretty sure the turbo would be a treat.
The only reason why I...
Shite, sorry everyone. I somehow missed every single response to this thread.
@My2016Civic @MSMCivicEX Yes, my problem was solved when my dealership/Honda replaced the rear glass. At first the dealership figured it was some connection short circuiting but they couldn't solve the problem until...
Came to work this morning to find a brand spankin' new Crystal Black Pearl Touring trim parked a few spaces down my usual spot, where I usually see a black ~2013 Civic.
Wonder if someone got an upgrade :)
To the others who've posted pictures: Have any of you had any issue with the cloth tearing? I know I ought to invest in a trunk tray eventually, but money is an issue at the moment so I'd likely be transporting my bike without one for some time.
I've been wondering, how long do you and others warm their cars for via the remote and does it actually warm or just knocks the chill off?
I'm thinking below freezing temperatures.
I was referring to these posts:
So I was wondering how the car would know that my fob key was still in the car but I wasn't. I may very well be misunderstanding what they're saying, though.
That I get, but I imagine the car knows the proximity of the fob, not the person.
For example, several times I've left the fob in the car with my girlfriend because I forgot something in the house and it never beeped at me.
I've seen several (maybe five or six) but today was a little special.
On my way home from work I noticed the distinctive tail lights of a black 2016 peeking from in front of a Cadillac in front of me. For the entire length of the street we were on I was hoping the Caddy would turn so that I...
I think the speakers in my EX are dandy (better than my girlfriend's 2015 LX) but it does seem to favour treble over bass. Obviously I can adjust the EQ with the radio and Bluetooth, but does changing these affect Android Auto/Carplay at all? I've yet to experiment with it but there seems to be...
I was going to post something similar.
I noticed today that with the auto set to 72~74 (not sure if this is for all temperatures) I could feel heat coming from both the floor and a little from the vents nearest the doors, even though the climate screen shows only the floor vent being active...
This is my first Honda vehicle and I must say, despite its first bugs I love it.
But speaking of said growing pains, I've been wondering if other Civics truly lived up to their reputation of being one of the most reliable cars to own or if they had their own issues.
So, what were your...
