I'm at 60,000 miles. I spent $550 for 4 new tires, and probably $150 more for the intall, $135 for two new rear shocks. OEM rear shocks are currently leaking.
Yeah, i heard Honda civic hatch has shitty rear shocks. Mine need to be replaced soon. Any recommendation on what to buy? This is my daily. Les Schwab quoted me $430 to replace two rear shocks with Excel Shocks. I don't know how reliable Excel Shocks are.
I'm 60k miles in on my original tires. Any recommendation for a new set of tires? Anything that is best value for the money? I was quoted today at Discount Tires, 4 tires for $850.
I can't tell really. Getting 35mpg, everything working great. I always change my oil early. Recent flushed trans, coolant, and break fluids. I did an oil analysis last year, the result was good, my car was much better than average. I collected oil for analysis few days ago, but it's a spendy...
I don't think your 10% oil life has anything to do with it. I always change my oil at 30% or 40% (which is about 3000-4000 miles) since i have oil dilution.
I have the Uniden R3, bought for $400 few years back, now you can get it for $200. I hardwired it to the fuse box. IMO Uniden R7 is not worth the money. R3 is best for the money.
