  1. Pennsylvania WTB: OEM Front Grill

Where do you live? If it’s within reason I’ll be happy to meet up half way.
  2. Pennsylvania WTB: OEM Front Grill

Will anyone do $100 for their old one? I can pick up a new one for $148 from the dealer but I don’t care if it’s new. Rather save a few bucks for a used one.
  3. Pennsylvania WTB: OEM Front Grill

Anyone have a 2017-2019 grill laying around (PN 71121-TGH-A01)? Someone hit and ran. Thought I’d check here before ordering a new one.
  4. Pennsylvania WTB: Rear Vent/Garnish

I was hit from behind and need a new driver side rear vent/garnish for my 2019 type r. I was hoping someone has one laying around for sale after upgrading to a 2020 version. I’m located in central PA. Thanks.
  5. HIC USA rain guard quality?

it has been about 9 months and I’m as happy with them now as I was when I first got them. No discoloration, fading, warping, or peeling.
  6. HIC USA rain guard quality?

Purchased a set after reading this thread. Thought I’d contribute by adding some pictures.
  7. Titan7 Track Wheels : Civic Type R FK8

Any chance we can get the cyber gold color on our 5x120 like they make for COBB’s 5x114?
  8. Gauging safe turn speeds

I agree with what is written above. Safer to start by entering slow, progressively exiting faster. When tires start to squeal and slide you will know when you are reaching the limit of its grip entering and exiting. I did this in a HPDE class at summit point and it was very educational learning...
  9. Saying "It is just a 35k Civic at the end of the day" . . . Makes me so mad

I would gladly pay $35k for just a Prius if they performed like a CTR. Could you imagine getting 60mpg on a CTR
  10. Hatchback with Type R rims

That looks really good!! Never knew they made conversion kits.
  11. Hatchback with Type R rims

Sorry but they won’t fit. Type R has a 5x120 bolt pattern vs the 5x114.
  12. 11th Gen Civic XI Hatchback Production Moving to North America

https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/honda-next-gen-civic-hatchback-production-north-america/ February 25, 2018 For its 10th-gen Civic, Honda moved to a global platform that allowed us Yanks to finally take a crack at the Civic Type R -- a car that proved to exceed our lofty expectations. When...
  13. The End of Type R Modifications Era?

Coming from the n54 world, people added higher hpfp along with port injection to run with direct injection once they reached the fuel limits. It was more cost effective than trying to upgrade the DI system. Most people were already running some sort of fuel management by that point whether it be...
  14. EGT Gauge?

    fantastic, thank you!!
  15. EGT Gauge?

I have a hks egt gauge I have from last car I would like to install on the type r. I tapped the egt probe into one of the turbo manifold runners in my last car, but with the CTR's headifold this doesn't look possible without drilling into the head. Where does one go about mounting the probe?
  16. What did you do to your Type R today?

Winter wheels/tires. Ordered from tire rack yesterday, arrived this afternoon. Enkei Draco Anthracite 18x8 offset 35 wrapped in Michelin X-Ice Xi3 245/40/18 plenty of clearance over the Brembos Sits flush. Top is the Enkei, bottom is stock.
  17. Turbo Civic vs 335i

My 335i was a champ for 100k miles, no issues. My last 30k hasnt been as kind . When I was only a stage 1 (flash + intake) I hung with my friend's C63 and viper SRT10. From 40-120 both slowly pulled about 2 car lengths on me.
  18. Turbo Civic vs 335i

Pretty sure even a stock CTR couldn't keep up. I have a n54 335i, and they respond ridiculously well to a simple tune. Not uncommon to see 335i push 360-400whp with just those mods.
  19. 2016 Civic Owners-Biggest Surprises/Disappointments so far?

Positives: MPG's: After 1500 miles, I'm averaging well above EPA estimates getting 40mpg combined doing 70/30 highway/city in 40 degree weather in my EX hatch. Auto Proximity Door Lock: Never knew about this feature until a week after owning it and now it's my favorite feature. It's so...
