I'm 99% sure it's the same issue I had before, same location, same noise, etc. They replaced my whole transmission two years ago because of this, just find it crazy that this noise hasn't been fixed, it's loud enough where it's embarrassing to hear it. Other than that there aren't any issues...

I have the base lx hatchback and wanted to grt/install the fog lights. Unfortunately I don't have a place or tools to do it. Anyone recommend someone that can install the fog lights? My biggest gripe about this car is that the lighting isn't wide enough to help around tight dark corners...

No doubt, it is louder than the whine I've heard in the past and only then I only heard it when the transmission had been under load or may have been warmer. This happens now when it's cold and getting up to operating temp.

Threw an K&N air filter into my car.. That's about it... until I can fork out the $800 for Hondata...

Mine wasn't part of the "vin" either, I kept complaining until they finally got it to do it. Unfortunately it didn't do much except quiet the problem down, still annoying and embarrassing when people notice it.

I want to write a letter to Honda but I know it'll do nothing. The vibration I felt in the shifter during the drive concerned me quite a bit but I havent felt it since. The startup grind is a lot quieter than before but it still happens.

So, totally forgot to update. I finally got them to replicate it, they replaced the whole transmission. Few weeks later I was on a road trip from Northern California to north of Seattle and back.. On the way up I felt the transmission vibrating about 600 miles into the drive. Haven't felt it...

I had gotten 39.1mpg on a 1,700 mile round trip from Northern California to 40+ minutes north of Seattle and back. This was on Pirelli Cinturato Strada's. CVT

So after dropping off my car today to get this problem repaired, I get a phone call a few hours later letting me know they've replicated the problem and now are ordering the parts to get it fixed and to also pick up my car while we wait for said parts.. I've got the biggest WTF face going on...

Finally getting mine fixed tomorrow, the fourth time I brought it in. I've shown video which they "couldn't use". Now I've got an issue where full heat to 67 degrees feels the same but they couldnt get it to replicate.. This car pisses me off sometimes but damn do I love it.

The flex of the hood is unreal, back in October I was driving to Redding, Calif during a 40+ mph head wind while doing 70. I legit was worried the thing was gonna flex and not pop back out.

I've been having an similar issue with my hatchback.. I set it to max heat in the morning because cold.. When it warms up I have the crank the damn thing below 65 to get it to switch over to cooler (not cold air). I even took it into the shop to have them look at it and I've been told it's "fine"..
