Thanks, I was hoping it was that easy
  2. What do you call this, and would you fix it?

    Ok. Thanks for confirming.
  3. What do you call this, and would you fix it?

Sorry to waste your time, you could have opted to not reply at all. I prefer to work on the car myself, and discover new ways of doing things, so was looking forward to doing it, just didn't want to botch anything, but again, thanks.
  4. What do you call this, and would you fix it?

Ok this is the gist of what i was getting at. I don't think I will have any problem pulling the trim off. I had planned to gently pry off each pin connection point. For putting the new trim piece on, I was beginning to think that it would be as easy as pushing the pins, still in the trim...
  5. What do you call this, and would you fix it?

Ok, glad it's just that straightforward. Thank you.
  6. What do you call this, and would you fix it?

Thanks for making it sound much easier than what i was expecting.
  7. What do you call this, and would you fix it?

That is likely. Just curious why the slide into the body trim in fashion they do (used to brackets with holes they attach through, but this may just be a honda fitting). If it's that easy I'm tempted to do it myself, but unsure about how i go about getting the other one off. After removing the...
  8. What do you call this, and would you fix it?

Out of town dealer sold me the car. They shipped me the part and they are paying to fix it, but I need to take it somewhere. Was wondering if it's an easy job since the bolt screws are exposed on the edges - just not sure what to do with the plastic screws in the middle of it.
  9. What do you call this, and would you fix it?

I picked up my Hatchback Sport Touring from a dealer out of town two weeks ago. They did a good job hunting down the exact color and trim I wanted, so I decided to buy the car from them, even though its a seven hour drive (the other excuse I could use was to visit my mother in law). Anyway, I...
  10. Debadge or plastidip?!

These options look sharp. I picked up the gloss finish because i want it to somewhat reflect the piano black details. I'll post pics when its done.
  11. 2017 Hatchback Bike Rack

Curt Hitch makes them for the 2017 Civic, and they make one for the Focus ST that has a center exhaust, however, the Focus exhaust is a flat hexagonal shape. Considering the Hatch S/ST is new, that they'll be manufacturing one. I have a question out to them and hope to post a reply soon.
  12. Hatchback and trailer hitch?

I still have not seen a version for the center exhaust Sports and I'm getting antsy.
  13. 2017 Hatchback Bike Rack

I have a hitch bike rack, so I'm waiting for a trailer hitch to come out that works with the center exhaust.
  14. Clear bra on Modern Steel

The quote i received for hood, fenders, mirrors, full front bumper runs $675 parts and labor. Protection for the headlights runs $95. Protecting full hood, full fenders, mirrors, and full bumper would run $1250 parts and labor.
  15. Debadge or plastidip?!

The dealership badge must go. I instructed my dealer before the car came in to not put one on there. Then when the car arrived at the dealership, I reminded them to not put one on there. On delivery day, the dealership badge (a vinyl decal) was on there! They said they would remove it before...
  16. Debadge or plastidip?!

Yeah, I just picked up my sonic grey and will probably do the same now that I have seen yours. I am thinking about getting the gloss coating to more closely resemble the grill and ground kit. Did you leave the front H emblem chrome?
  17. Any Civic Must-Have Accessories?

    Thanks for the tip.
  18. Any Civic Must-Have Accessories?

No papers are signed yet. And yes, mats are ideal in mucky weather wreaks havoc on interior with grime and salt etc... but they're also great for general wear and tear. I always wear my carpet out under the pedals. Sure, the rubber is a more industrial look but i guess some prefer it.
  19. Any Civic Must-Have Accessories?

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm going to see if I can get them thrown in. I'm paying MSRP, and don't think they'll give me much for the my trade-in so I'll see what I can get. If not, WeatherTech sounds like a great option.
