Yes exactly. It just got automatically turned on every time I turn on AC, even when the outside is cool :( Did I get a defective car? :(
That's not nice of those mice! They should be banned! lol I'm sorry to hear that. I did check my filter and it looks good and doesn't smell bad.
Thank you Shank! That's what I wanted to do. But the thing is Civic automatically turn on the recirc when I turn on the AC (not even auto AC). That was my original question. Is there a setting that I can change it not to be turned on automatically when I turn on AC in Civic 2017? Thank you!

It smells like soaked wood got rotten... :puke: I HOPE it's not a dead animal :(. How did you get it out? I usually park in a garage but outside when I work.
Thank you Rick, but I don't use auto climate control. I usually just turn on the AC button and set the air to lowest. The re-circulation button always turn on when I do that, even when outside if 75 degree and my setting is 74 degree, like this morning :(
It smells bad when I have in car circulation and AC on for a while and then turn only the circulation off. When it's drawing air from outside it smells musty. I've had in car circulation on most of the time since I got this car because it's default when I turn my AC on, and people say that may...
Hi you guys,
The new Civic I got always turn on the inside air circulation button whenever I turn on the AC. I didn't really care about it in the beginning, but after a summer, the AC smells musty and people suggested that using in car circulation may have caused that.
So, is there a way to...
