I have a 2017 sedan touring. I have found the trunk open a couple times and I conveniently opened the windows for a snowstorm. The only way I could imagine would be from pocket pressing the fob buttons. I keep only the fob and a few coins in my pocket.
My solution was to buy a tightly fitting...
It is about two years since I had the slow leak problem. After paying a tire store to look closely I have not had a problem.
Both the dealer and the tire store did the soap-bubble test and saw no leaks from the tire, rim, or stem. Neither found any punctures in the tire.
The dealer remounted...
I'm glad you're okay. But, totaled?
That's kinda scary. I'm thinking there must be much more damage on the side or the "frame" must be mangled. I notice the side airbag seemed to deploy, but the driver's did not.
I think I have seen much worse damage repaired.
I had the same problem when I first bought my 2017 sedan touring. Every two weeks or so the right rear tire would lose enough air to set off the warning light.
The dealer supposedly fixed it twice, but the leak just slowed down a little.
First be sure, as mentioned above, to have the tires...
Thanks for all replies. I found one on Amazon that seems to work – I just got it today.

It looks good. I don't use the belt hook and I used scissors to cut off the flaps at the bottom. It fits snugly...
Hello,
An indicator on my dashboard told me that my key fob battery was low. I purchased the 2017 Civic Sedan Touring new in December 2016. That would make the battery a little over two years old.
The battery in my CRV fob was still going strong after seven years.
What should be the life...
I was excited about the Waylens 360 also, but was too late to join the Kickstarter.
How do you like it?
I've seen some of the reviews – people complaining about resolution and actually getting a clear view.
After thinking about it a little bit more I mainly don't like the size and the fact...
True. I'm guessing 75% of the time a front facing dash cam will be able to document a collision and 95% of the time a front and rear facing dash cam set up will document a collision.
For the parking scenario when somebody rifles your car you'll wish you had side facing cameras. Showing a video...
That's right, we can dream up millions of scenarios.
I think it would always be better to have a 360° view than just a front or front and back view.
People in my neighborhood have reported their cars are being ransacked at night. The thief enters via the passenger door - a front view camera...
I basically agree with everything you said, there are scenarios where a front facing dash cam could be useful. But, I can think of many scenarios were taking a picture out front is not gonna solve anything.
My sister had her car totaled when she was rear-ended. The girl who hit her said my...
I must be in the minority.
I look at dash cams and most only have cameras pointing out the front. To me this is almost worthless.
I saw one that allowed you to rotate the head 360°, but what if it's pointing out the front when someone breaks your side window?
Most have a single unit that can...
Yes. New cars are getting cameras all over the place. I hope they start to add dash cam and monitoring features. If you ever need it, a video is worth 10 thousand words.
I posted a similar thread about a year ago.
Does anybody know of a Dash Cam with some or most of the following features? I can't believe I can't find something like this and/or nobody produces it.
I think the real purpose of a Dash Cam is strictly to document events. For example, it documents...
I have been watching this dash cam also. I think they have a great idea and will be very interested to hear your experience.
I am interested in a dash cam for two scenarios: First to document an accident. Second to capture video of someone breaking into the car.
A few things I have thought...
Hello,
I really like the idea of a dash cam. I think it's main purpose is to document events – say someone runs a red light, or breaks the passenger window to steal something.
I don't think superhigh resolution is necessary, but I do think 360° coverage is mandatory. Other things like "parking...
I have the same problem. I'm in New York State so it does get cold here. Several times the windows have fogged up seemingly way more than they should have, this morning for example. I turn the air conditioning on, temperature up, fan to high, and make certain that Recirculate is Off.
This seems...
I had locking lug nuts on a car in the late 1990s.
After a year or two the key (special socket) no longer grabbed the locking lug nut.
One time the dealer tried to rotate my tires. He came back to me and said he could not remove the wheels. They had to resort to heroic measures to remove the...
This is a very interesting thread…
Suppose you lose the key fob (someone steals your pants while you're at the beach or a health club), Is there a way to open and start/drive a pushbutton-start model Civic by hiding a spare key (or maybe key fob) somewhere on the car without compromising the...
I'm going to use this thread for a dash cam question.
I think dashcams are great idea, but I don't like what I have seen offered. I wonder if anyone can point out a model, make a suggestion, or steer me in the right direction.
I am looking for a dash cam that has 360° coverage – front, back...
I have a Broadway BW155 Blue 270mm Convex Mirror in a touring sedan.
It fits perfectly, does not interfere with the sun visors or sensing, and stays on even though I have the fatter "auto dim" mirror.
After a couple hours I was used to the "objects are closer than they appear" of convex...
