This is Honday policy. Not a dealer policy. If they find you a new dealer willing to do the work, the policy will be the same. Probably same of an Acura dealer.
I did. I was denied. I created a post about it here: https://www.civicx.com/threads/ac-condenser-tsb-19-091-the-case-for-including-hatches.43204/#post-716311
Don't ever use needle nose pliers! Autozone loans the tool for free and HF sells the tool for like $20. You can easily damage the boot on the piston with pliers.
I would LOVVVE to see an itemized bill for a $1200 brake job.
Forgive me creating yet another thread on AC condensers. But, I didn't really see one dedicated to the plight of the hatchback!
My wife's 2017 Civic hatch (50k miles) started with AC issues about 2 or 3 weeks ago. It was struggling to keep up with a wet, humid day. About a week later the AC...
I have a 17 Civic Hatch with a confirmed condenser failure. The stealership says I'm not covered under the condenser TSB. And my local AC shop says they can't find one in stock anywhere. I see a couple of different ones in stock at RockAuto. But, they won't install parts that I provide. I'm...
At the risk of pointing out the obvious, in order to replace the BCM, you have to disconnect the battery. The only way you can truly tell if the BCM is the fix is to have tried the battery reset first unsuccessfully and then solved the problem with the replacement of the BCM. I have yet to see...
For sure if you cover shipping. What's your zip? I'll try to get a quote. Sorry for the delay in responding. I thought this forum was setup to email me replies to a thread.
I'm sure that bumper cover flapping around while you are driving is really annoying. If you want a temporarily fix, pour some hot water on the dent in the bumper. It might pop itself out without any encouragement. If it doesn't pop back by itself, get behind it with your hand and push it out...
100% agree! Clear bra is by far the best option. If the OP is just looking for protection on one drive, use this stuff. I use on my Focus ST when I take it to the track. Just take it off right away. It can leave adhesive behind if it drys out.
I drove the hatch and 4-door sedan back to back and noticed the same thing. They actually drive like two different very cars in the corners. The sedan has significantly more body roll. Our salespersons hadn't noticed but then spent a few minutes clicking around found mention in the promotional...
Thanks for posting this up! Huge fan of replacing the rear sway as a first suspension upgrade. Super quick, 30 minute install is always nice. And based on my experience, it has a bigger impact on cornering than most lowering springs. I am really impressed with the OEM suspension on this car...
Woah. Mind Blown. That would make it -- by far -- the worst hydraulic clutch I have ever driven. I almost felt better with the idea that it was a cable clutch. It was easier to explain why it was so bad.
