Another update, car has roughly 17k miles now. It is winter time again maybe in the 40-50's here (southern california), and today I noticed some white smoke in my rear view mirror when I stomped on the accerlator for a brisk pull (off a roll going about 20mph to 50mph). Happened twice. I tried...
I have roughly 15k miles on my 2017 EX hatchback now, and up to this point I had to disconnect the battery maybe 4 times total because it stopped recognizing my fob for keyless entry unless I actually hit the unlock button on the remote...
Its not a huge deal but quite an annoyance from time...
They replaced the entire assembly, so the seat/frame/cushion/cloth. It is plug and play but they had to disconnect the battery first, due to some airbag sensors I belive. I have the heated seat feature so there some wire harness.
my 2017 EX hatchback had it. Its normal from the molding process while manufacturing these steering wheels. When the car was new, I could feel it, but now 10,000 miles later, it has rubbed/worn down so its flush I dont feel it anymore.
It helps to put a coat of wax on it. I use the turtle wax ice paste wax - put a coat on once every season. Seems to help lessen the swirls on the tail lights..
My hatch spoiler lights came looking pretty good, but after a year of ownership, carefully washing every other week over the past year, I find it does scratch semi-easily. I use a microfiber wash mitt too.
I just heard it for first time today. Same exact description, right after startup, lasts a second or two. Car has bout 8000 miles now, EX CVT 2017 hatch
Hello I have a 2017 civic EX hatchback. My driver's seat height adjustment lever, when lowering the height, feels like the gears or mechanism is stripped or skipping at the very last (lowest point the seat will go) setting. Raising the seat is no problem at any stage.
At the lowest height...
anyone know the part number for the 2 metal philips screws? (not to be confused with the 6 plastic 1/4 turn flathead ones). Someone please let me know, one of mine is a bit stripped so I'd like to replace it.
I found it easiest to put a little flashlight against the plastic reservoir tank. Just at the corner nearest min/max line, and it should show your coolant level very easily.
I think the heat can contribute, since its a plastic piece. I have the hatchback which comes with the black grill, dont know if its maybe more apparent on some hatchbacks since black colors generally attract more heat = easier to warp/stretch.
