I have that same issue, it might just be the engine and cvt warming up. Once the engine warms up a little, I notice that the cvt doesn't slip, but I know what you're talking about. It's odd, because we also have a 2016 fit ex cvt and it doesn't do that at all...?
I see, that's quote pricey. I think I'll request a quote from a few shops. If not, I might just buy myself a pair of ramps and do it myself. Thanks for the update!
Odd, because I never got that reminder? I had one maintenance reminder, but the dealer associate said I just needed to change my tires, air cabin filter, maybe an A1 or A2 service light. After I denied that, I haven't seen any other maintenance reminders. I'm not sure why, but I plan on getting...
Hello, I wanted to know if I could possibly swap either any of the digital displays into the car. Maybe the Sport touring, since it shows the gears while you use the paddle shifters? What are some of the major issues that I could run into? I just think it's really stupid that Honda put a turbo...
I see, I think it's time to get a fluid change. I honestly don't mind it, but my passengers think there's something wrong with my car. I guess it's something I'll have to deal with.
So, after reading this thread (not all of it), here is my experience with my cvt. I currently have a 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport cvt. All I have in and Injen SRI. Engine is stock and no tune was ever applied to it. My driving style is as goes, 75% of the time, I'm using light throttle. 25% time...
Hello all, I plan on getting new tires once winter passes and curious to see if anyone has had the P Zero Nero GT's on their 10th gen. I'm asking about these specifically because their about $160 per tire and curious to see how they are in the rain and dry. I would assume they don't do too great...
First off, congratulations of the Veloster! I heard that they're great cars. I can understand the choices you made, which weren't bad ones. I may switch directions as well. I'm looking at RS, Golf GTI/R, CTR, or a s550 GT. I guess it depends on the buyer!
Yeah, I kind of figured that it was somewhat normal, but I want to get it checked out, since the cvt's aren't the strongest and most reliable transmission.
I might need to get a fluid flush or change for the cvt. When I drive from Raleigh to Charlotte or anywhere longer than 2 hours, the transmission becomes a turtle. The throttle is very laggy and it turns harsh. Any ideas of good shops around the Raleigh area?
My car seems to downshifts on downhill roads and engine brakes like crazy. I tried slowly applying the gas and that does help, but I have no intentions since I drive with a slightly heavy foot. The harsh kick-in happens on downhills and flat stretches. I'll slow down, but not stop and the engine...
So, I've owned my 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport CVT for 3 years now. Here are some Pros and Cons of the car. Pros: The car is fun around corners and has some good storage space. I also think that the hatchback sport looks better, in terms of the black wheels, under body spoilers (which I put a red...
Hello all, I have a 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport with a cvt. Here is my issue. The engine kicks in really hard if I slow down, and then get on the accelerator (not flooring it). Not sure what causes with, but it is uncomfortable and worrisome. It'll happen when ever the car "thinks" I'm coming to...
Hey Subie, I bought this exact head unit and for some reason the call volume or sound isn't working. All the cords are correct and music plays through bluetooth, but I can hear people when they call me and I can't dial anyone. Is there a possible fix for this? Thanks!
