  1. Brand New Honda Civic 2.0L burning 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles ????

I have a tune and I redline it to 7000 RPM everyday. It never consumed any oil ever since I bought it in 2016. Run far away from that stupid dealer.
  2. Air conditioning condenser issue is real

I got my car back today and the AC is cold AF! They used the condenser from a newer car so I won't have to wait for the part to be delivered. So basically the issue is that the condenser construction is badly made and it puncture in the BACK of it. The only way to diagnose this is to remove the...

  6. Air conditioning condenser issue is real

So last week my AC went out completely on my way back from Montreal so I decided to stop at another dealer on my way back. Got an appointment yesterday and they found out that the condenser is rotten on one side and let me know that it's a common issue with 2.0l condenser. Also, the dealer is...
  7. Air conditioning condenser issue is real

    Your insurances should cover this.
  8. Air conditioning condenser issue is real

According the the mechanic if it was a leak from the condenser there would be a very small hole and there would not be that much oil. So the black spot is coming from something else. Since my A/c is still working I decided to not touch it and if the system was fine I would have to pay 129.99...
  9. Plastic Cover Sagging Underneath Car

It's most likely missing some clips. Mine is fine.
  10. Air conditioning condenser issue is real

I have an appointment next week to check the condenser on mine as well. When looking closer it doesn't seem to have an impact. Don't mind the bugs tho xD it was the reason why I took the picture but someone mentioned that black spot on the condenser...

  12. Bonjour Québec!

There is plenty of kits on Ebay but I didn't see any kit with the sensing cover. I would suggest to get a kit from Ebay then go at your local dealer and get the driver side cover with the radar holder. I did get this kit...

  15. Is the stock MT clutch engagement very sensitive or is it me?

The master cylinder has a delay valve on it and it might be the reason why it grab unexpectedly. I had the same "issue" with my LX 6MT at the beginning but now I got used to it. It's also probable that it's because the clutch has been properly broken in and is a bit less grabby than when it was...
  16. Type R Shift Base in LX Hatch

At this price I will do it for sure! The TypeR throw is about 30% less if I'm not mistaken.
  17. What a mess!

A thermistor is less accurate during the winter. But it seems that yours is very off though... Mine is always off on the first start of the morning (I've seen it off by 5 celcius often) and as soon as I move it is fine. It read the same or very close to what it is shown on Android Auto.
  18. What a mess!

Here's why the temperature might be off sometimes: https://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/a26954/why-car-thermometers-are-bad/ I do understand that it may be frustrating but maybe knowing it is a known issue with Thermistors in general will make is a bit less frustrating. Mine also read wrong...
