Honestly tho. My 07 Fit with a few performance mods can tackle the snow with a good pair of snow tires. But rwd is insane. Basically doing donuts when you don't want to. And simple parking lot maneuvering is a hassle if the rears aren't studded.

Although Honda would be smart to do it like the Si. It has one trim, but one with Nav and one w/o, so they should do the R the same way. One with Nav (and LED headlights) and one w/o Nav and lights.
