My roll of the dice is saying that the Si will come out early next year, based on how Honda has been releasing recent new models the past two years.
Further more, my GM and I were discussing this today. We feel that Honda has not decided which engine is going into the Si yet.
Dealers pay whatever the car is worth. Galves give one market value for the car and the dealer makes deductions based on condition, accidents, etc.
My point with the article is to let everyone know that now KBB is much closer to the actual Marley value, assuming you select everything...
Keep in mind that the retail value of a car is simply the asking price. That Audi A5 that retails for $25k may not exactly sell for that amount, since most customers will try to negotiate a discount. Furthermore, vehicles will most certainly have money put into them during the reconditioning...
Your timing is uncanny, since Im hoping to write another article on trade-in values on my site later today, if possible. In the meantime, you have to keep in mind that it doesn't really come down to if its a Honda dealer or not, since all dealers use the same value book and method to determine...
As I detailed in other threads, allocations are every two months (from order to build). My store gets shipments almost every day, since there are different manufacturing plants for different vehicles, leading to a variety of manufacturing dates and arrivals.
In regards to vehicles with Honda...
It comes down to this. Do you want a car now? Or do you want to wait a whole year for possible better deals on 16s, before the 17s come out?
This is a full redesign, so you wont see any big discounts on the 10th gen Civic like on 15s until right before the 2019 (refresh year) model comes out.
I agree that Subaru leaves a lot to be desired in terms of reliability, but cannot agree about Toyota being more reliable than a Honda. To be fair, reliability as far as engines and transmission are about equal, but in terms of interior components, plastics, fabrics, etc, its not even close. If...
Working at a Honda dealer, I can tell you that there is a dramatic difference between the CRV and the Civic, and not because one is a car and the other an SUV. Have you noticed how the new Civic, Pilot and HRV feel very much like a premium product? That's because they are the first stage of...
It varies per manufacturer. With a brand like Nissan, Ford or GM, invoice is not the end all price, since they offer many cash incentives and other subsidies, in addition to bonuses for volume, which ties to Fleet Sales.
Honda is a bit different. While there is hold back (which is technically...
When it comes to buying sites A) prices are set by the dealer and B) they do not always include all dealers fees. This is why in many regions TrueCar's "target price" can vary greatly from their "average purchase price", which reflects closer to what customers actually paid. This is also a...
EX-L does not have rear heated seats in addition to the following:
Standard Honda Sensing™ Feature Suite
LED Headlights
Heated Outboard Rear Seats
Front Passenger's Seat with 4-Way Power Adjustment
450-Watt Premium Audio System with 10 Speakers, Including Subwoofer
Rain-Sensing Windshield...
Touring is worth it vs an EXL, without question. Its really up to you, but the LED headlights, rear leather seats and, especially, the Honda Sensing is great. And, finally, coming from an Infiniti, you will still feel like you are in a full luxury car.
Would be a great deal for you. You will know for sure once you are in the finance office. I would not wait to take advantage of this deal, since the year is almost over. Way below the average selling price in the area.
Extend the lease as much as you can and get the Si. If it was with BMW Financial, not a third party bank, you may have the option of going up to an extra 6 months.
Call them and find out.
I agree that those would have been nice features, but in the non-luxury world, there really is no car that has it all. Yet at the same time, there isn't a single car at the same price which gives you the vast list of features you get in a Touring Civic. It's an awesome car!!
This really does make the most sense. It continues the Si's legacy of coming with a 6 Speed only. At the 230HP max, it pretty much guarantees the starting price staying under $25K. And going with a detuned 2.0l is a lot easier than investing more time and money in making the 1.5T reach the same...
Honda does not have any promotional finance offers at this time. Usually the finance department will check with a few banks to see who is going to give you the best rate.
As far as pricing is concerned, it seems that destination is not included in those prices, since they are way under invoice...
Its still way too early for mass aftermarket support, especially since this model is not going to be sold in Japan. The Civic hasn't been available there for a few years now.
I would guess that springs, exhaust, intake, and tune will probably be the order of release, especially since the turbo...
