Curt makes a hitch for the Focus ST and its center exhaust. Give it time and I'm sure the Civic Sport and Sport Touring will have hitch options down the road.
How badly is the depth (height?) of the rear cargo area compromised by the center exhaust? I think I remember reading there's no spare tire. Is there any space below the cargo floor, or is it totally flat? The car looks great, by the way.
Am I seeing correctly that the retractable privacy screen is customizable to pull from the left to right as well as right to left? So it's removable as well?
Any issues folding down the rear seats with the non-removable headrests? Do the front seats need to be moved forward first?
Thanks for all the pics. I'm really digging the two tone interior.
Has anyone snapped any pictures of the two tone interior? Everything I've seen so far is all black. I think the white, black, and polished metal are all supposed to have black/ivory as an interior option, and I'm curious if it's broken up like the sedan or more like the coupe (hoping for the...
The Equinox cargo volume is listed online at 31.5 cubic feet. I believe the Civic volume is 25.7 cubic feet (converted from measurements in the Canadian press release). These are all with the seats up. Since the Civic hatchback rear overhang appears less than the sedan, I imagine the volume is...
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the last Swindon-built Honda in North America was the early 2000's Civic SI, the two door hatchback. I'm not familiar with Canadian models, so some others may have ended up there.
Any particulars about the driver seat in the hatch, specifically a lumbar adjustment? There was a sedan tester in Europe that, if I remember correctly, appeared to have a seat control for lumbar. Since the Swindon plant is building hatches for both US and UK/EU, I'm wondering if that has somehow...
That might be possible. I know the Accord Sport and Touring have larger brakes to help with the extra mass of their 19" rims vs. the standard 17". Considering the gas mileage on the Civic Sport/Touring is 4(!) mpg less on the highway, the rims must be pretty heavy.
