Leave the white plugs there - they keep the license plate from touching the paint and help secure the bolts.
For a replacement bolt, head to Home Depot or Lowes and when you get there, remove the plate and take the remaining bolt inside the store. Use it to find a matching bolt and you should...
The locks are about 75% black - but do have a small metal (non-painted) ring around them. Not sure why they did that, but you can't notice it on the car unless you're looking for it.
The lugs are 100% black.
Thank you! You're picture helped. I didn't realize it needed to be folded over that way. Now it fits perfect.
I guess you can install it like the other picture in this thread if you have a big/bulky item.
Hey guys. Just got the accessory cargo net for my Type R...and it doesn't fit. Not even close. It's way too big and super loose. There's no way this thing is holding anything in place. Did anyone else have this same problem? Or does anyone have a cargo net that is taut once installed?

Yeah, I thought about that. I have a 2015 Si currently and the shift knob on my car is very similar to the '17 Si's shift knob. Leather on the sides, little bit of metal on the top. My current shift knob doesn't bother me.
I guess for an all-leather version we could take the shift knob from...
Has anyone tried fitting the standard leather shift knob from the 2017 Si (sedan or coupe) into the Type R? I know it's a more "simple" looking knob on the Si, but I'm OK with that.
Do you mind if I ask where you got your clearbra and ceramic pro? My Type R should be arriving in the next wave either later this month or early in Oct. I'm in the LA/South Bay area and looking for a good shop to do a ceramic coating.
Oh man - I hope people aren't running race fuel. I don't think any tuner has a tune for race fuel, yet. Running race fuel without a proper tune could cause some problems.
Yeah, very good idea - remove the rear tire first, and replace it with the spare. Then go to the front tire that is flat, remove that wheel and replace it with the 20" from the rear. A little extra work but the right move, as you mentioned.
Has anyone tried to install one of these mirrors w/homelink: https://www.amazon.com/Gentex-40ADMHH-Auto-Dimming-Mirror-HomeLink/dp/B00C9Z3U60
If not in the CTR, maybe in a Civic sedan/coupe/hatch?
Looks really good and great price. I'm assuming they didn't do any paint correction as part of that price (before applying the PPF or ceramic coating)?
