Hi, you are right. It is hard to say for sure. The quote is from:

They seem to took it from:
http://www.autonews.com/article/20170618/RETAIL01/170619820/honda-civic-type-r-variants
On another source it says
"Matsumoto-san suggested a more powerful version could be in the works, as well as the potential inclusion of all-wheel drive to better take on the likes of the VW Golf R, Ford Focus RS, and Subaru WRX STI."
Only on renders/some photos with wrong color profile. I saw it live and trust me it is the same color as always. Same color that was in previous gen and also in Jazz.
I was hoping for better seats, cause 9 gen Type-R are too thin and uncomfortable for me.
I am 6.13" (187cm) / 211 punds (96kg). Specifically my back does not fit in these and my arms are too much forward (I have to be bent). The red trim all over the car should be dropped as well, since it only...
That is great to hear. You probably do not know, but European Type-R struggles with heat and weak intercooler. When temperature of intercooler reaches 50 degrees Celsius the power is cut down from 310 to 265HP. Which in practice means you always have 265HP, when it is more than 20 degrees outside.
I am also not convinced since the factory driver said it is up to Honda if they wish to promote Type-R or AWD Civic, this would mean it is not the same car.
Very wise words. What more was said in the interview is that the car is coming out January 2017, which is few monts after the standard hatchback (October).
The new Megane RS is also getting AWD and so is Leon Cupra (Seat has been seen already testing it on Ring). If Honda is not considering...
AWD confirmed by factory driver:

The Subaru Levorg GT as with all Subarus is four-wheel drive in its road-going configuration, but with four-wheel drive banned under the BTCC’s technical regulations, the...
If this is true, I will take five of those. Maybe Honda testing CTR against Merc A45 (there were photos on the internet) learned something that made it happen.

Oh no, not the red lip rims again. I really dislike this element of current CTR.
Did you notice that both recently spotted prototypes have small differences?
