I splurged for the $140 A/C Pro kit in May and it's working fine for me so far. Last summer, Honda told be my compressor was leaking and I used the older A/C Pro gauge and bought the Honeywell can separately and most of it leaked out by spring. Plus, I don't hear any whirring noises when the...
For those of you who are out of warranty, I found this product to help (so far) with my slowly leaking AC:
https://www.acprocold.com/product/r-1234yf-a-c-pro-recharge-kit/
After being told by Honda that my compressor was leaking, I tried A/C Pro's first R1234yf product (the separate gauge and...
I got a KTuner with the TSP tune this week, and am really impressed with the difference. However, it seems like map 3 is too much for the OEM suspension. I have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires and on dry pavement I can get traction control to activate at WOT at around 25-30 mph. At high rpm...
Took my 17 hatch ST in today after getting passenger side only cold air and hearing a light metallic ‘spinning’ sound only when the compressor turns on. The sound had been slowly getting louder over the past year or two and decided to finally bring it in. Was told pressure was low, compressor...
19X = Honda Indiana passenger vehicle
FC2 = 2.0L 4 Dr Civic
F = CVT
7 = EX trim
2 = check digit
J = 2018 model year
E = Honda Indiana plant
014976 = your Civic is the 14976th one made at Honda Indiana for the 2018 model year (not really always necessarily the case but it's one interpretation)
I believe Honda is known to have different part numbers just based on different suppliers, eg. I was looking at the center console cupholder insert and the part number for the hatch is different than the sedan/coupe but they should be interchangeable. On the other hand, some advice from my swap-...
OP, go for it! I did a AT to MT swap on my FR-S after someone else successfully did it and although it was frustrating at times and it took me 6 months from researching to turning the key, it was worth it considering all that I learned about the FR-S. Maybe I'll do it for my ST hatch someday too...
Without pressing the brake, press the start button once then wait a sec for it to get to on mode (this turns on all electronics), then press again to turn off. It won't work if you just press twice in a row.
There is a Sport-specific cargo tray. Part #08U45-TGG-100A, whereas the non-Sport tray is part #08U45-TGG-100. The rear area is a little higher in the Sport models due to the center exhaust. It is available online, for example http://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/08U45-TGG-100A.html (I am...
Have yet to see one in the Tacoma area. Mostly sedans, a few coupes here and there. The first one I see in the wild might just be my own when I get it.
Updated my original post to include cars.com and R&T, which drove the Sport Touring too. They didn't really mention any difference between Sport and Sport Touring as far as driving experience
Yes - 2006 Si was only in coupe, then they added the sedan in 2007. But I still believe as long as there's a hatch Sport, there'll be no hatch Si. Unless people start buying hatch Sports like crazy.
