Thanks! Sorry for the late reply. Haven't been frequenting the forum in a while. I got these at a sweet deal ($75 a wheel) from Discount Tire as they were returned from someone that ordered them and then said they didn't like the color. I was skeptical, but once the employee held them up next to...
I don't know if anyone else's fuse kept blowing because of the extra power, but I did say that. That was because I replaced the horn with 4 Cadillac horns, though. I'm sure it's much more power draw than that two horn system. I still haven't used a relay, though. All I did was go to a 20 amp...
Woah, I had a similar experience yesterday with the same exact car! I pulled out in front of him onto a main road from a side street with about 100 yards to spare. I could see him speed up and get on my tail - like I was hindering his travel  - right before we caught a red light. On...
That's a good point. Most films have a lifetime warranty now. The only concern is wasted time if you have to use a warranty. I'm sure if you find a good installer, whichever you choose will be just fine.
Except for the emblem? Come on, every little piece is just another opportunity for another...
I had considered the Suntek CXP as well. I did a lot of research before I got mine and I don't necessarily remember specifics, but the 3M ceramic was regarded as having the lowest occurrence of problems or complaints. The CXP is a nano-carbon film, which is great, but ceramics tend to outperform...
Mine is the 3M ceramic. It does look even darker in this pic, partly because of the angle of the sun, but also because my windshield is tinted. Blocking all of the light from the front really makes the sides look like limo tint. Check out my garage, I have some other daytime pictures where it...
I have 20% all around, and 55% on the windshield. Works so perfectly during the day, and reduces glare at night without making it difficult to see. Going down a neighborhood road with no street lights is a little dark, but it isn't bad enough to force me to roll down the windows. I just drive a...
This is the same here in Nevada. MAKE SURE to ask to see receipts and the boxes, because someone may try to screw you, or even just make a mistake. The body shop guy I went to is a friend of mine. The suspension shop sent him an aftermarket piece. Whether or not it was intentional, we don't...
GREAT contrast on your car. I really like the sport hatchback wheels, but those Volks are even better. I think your car is one of the best looking white ones on here. You have quite a few mods, and they're all tastefully done without detracting from the original design.
:respect:
Wow, that was unnecessary. I don't generally respond to inane arguments, but this is too good to pass on. The only thing more irritating than your arrogance and sarcasm is your horrible grammar and spelling. Not to mention the complete disregard for sentence structure, capitalization...
This is definitely possible, but wouldn't make things much easier. Reason being that you'd still have to splice into the existing horn wiring for the new horn. Getting to the OEM horn wiring isn't easy without the bumper off.
Also, you'd have to find the proper tone to mix with the OEM horn...
This is incorrect. The bulb color behind a red lens should always be red. If you put white light (especially a brighter LED) behind a red lens you'll get a reddish-orange light output.
Turn signal, parking, and brake lights are all 7440 bulb type. You wouldn't want to use the ones in the link for your brake lights, though, because these are amber. You're going to need a red colored 7440 for brake lights. Reverse lights are a 921 bulb, and you'll probably want white for those.
I can tell you from experience that these work great! They have built in resistors, so you don't have to splice any wires. They're bright and crisp. They ship free, and you can usually find a promo code for 10 percent off, too...
I arrive to work half an hour earlier than everyone else because I'm on the early shift, so I'm able to park on the very end right up against the line. Leave PLENTY of space for the person next to me. It has worked well so far.
Before then when I was coming in at the same time as everyone else...
