I have a neighbor who puts his sprinkler on every night and it pretty much soaks my driveway but he sets it up so it doesn't hit my car, very respectful but we're also very respectful to him.
Gotta agree with this one. It comes with the territory of buying a new car. Hoping for Honda to come along and replace/upgrade everybody's system is a pipe dream and it ain't gonna happen unless they deem it recall worthy.
Welcome to the Internet lol.
In regards to the limit of the Civic, nobody knows. The limit of the CVT in the WRX which is considered to be a HIGH TORQUE CVT is 500nm or 368 ft lbs. Take that for what you will.
I'm all for modding your car out and making it your own. My biggest pet peeve is the kids who throw an exhaust on and automatically think they're Mario Andretti and forget stop signs mean STOP.
You nailed it on the head here. I've had the car for half a year now and I'm still trying to get used to the lag. So many times I'm waiting for a gap in traffic to make a turn, hit the gas, car finally decides "oh shit I think this guy wants to go", and now my tires are squealing as the car...
I had a 2016 WRX with the CVT. Cold air intake and Cobb protune on her. The CVT was extremely rubberbandy. You can find online the max hp and tq that it can handle. At the end of the day I traded it in cause I was always worried about the tranny grenading one day.
While I would appreciate an SI or Type R with a DSG I know it would never happen, Honda simply doesn't care for it. I certainly understand the whole manual argument and being one with the machine(I have a sport bike) but I'd like to atleast see the option even if it's another 2-3 grand.
I usually just open up the shade part once in awhile to remind me I have one lol. Too worried about opening the actual sunroof and having something break. As a side note, I wish using the "all windows open" trick on the fob would just roll down the windows and not open the sunroof also. Id like...
This looks pretty on point. Awesome explanation. My question is, what kind of damage, if any, are we doing to our cars with this engine rattle? Hopefully it's not gonna cause a cascade of problems further down the line. I'm glad I leased that's for sure.
Type R or Si, either or, they're both beautiful looking cars but I just wish they would makem with a mean ass DCT for those that don't wanna row gears all day.
Exact same thing happened to me, had a little bit of dust on it and wiped it with little cloth I used to clean my sunglasses, marred the hell out of the entire thing.
I have an EX T and I can tell you this much, while the cloth is nice, the armrests do feel quite abrasive and I notice they're both starting to fade. If given the opportunity I would definitely go back to leather(previous car had leather).
I played back the sound clip to my dad and he said it sounds like the starter/flywheel. He's built his share of engines in his lifetime(he's a muscle car guy) and it seemed like he knew immediately what it was. It's ashame these dealerships aren't really coming up with anything definitive. This...
Looks like I'm in the club now too, I've gotten this noise a few times myself. Nobodys ever around when it seems to happen but man is it vicious sounding.
