  1. Trunk tray and seat fold down opening

I was "building" a Civic on Honda's website and noticed they have two all-season mats listed as options, a regular and a high-wall. Maybe they finally got the message?
  2. Manual 1.5t delayed until 2017 model year

Fuel economy is likely to suffer in the Si as well as needing to pump premium. I'm thinking leather and other bells and whistles of the Touring won't be available on the Si either.
  3. Manual 1.5t delayed until 2017 model year

Honda did release the HR-V in mid-May 2015 as a 2016 model year, so I guess it is still possible.
  4. CVT transmission any good/bad?

Try a Nissan or Mitsubishi CVT (I've driven both) and you'll understand the winding and droning comment. I've also driven a Toyota CVT that behaved very similar to what you are saying your Civic does.
  5. Over analyzing this image from the Honda website-

To me they look like 9th-gen silhouettes. If you want other possibilities, Coupe, Coupe Si, Sedan Si, Hatch.
  6. 2016 Honda Civic production begins at Indiana plant (updated w/ production line videos)

I don't think it is offered at this plant (though I'm not certain), but I believe you can tour the Marysville, OH plant.
  7. Official AEGEAN BLUE Civic Thread

I had a color similar (maybe a little darker) on a 2003 MINI. To my eye it showed dirt/salt more than other colors, particularly because of how much depth the color had when clean... it would dull a lot when dirty. I vaguely remember swirl marks, but not as bad as black. I never tried touching...
  8. 2016 Honda Civic production begins at Indiana plant (updated w/ production line videos)

The best I got was a "few months" for the coupe, but unfortunately there was also mention of a delay in the Si due to a couple snags still in the production process. No details were shared about what the delay is related to or what timeline that might put it on. As an enthusiast I sure hope...
  9. 2016 Honda Civic production begins at Indiana plant (updated w/ production line videos)

Here is one of the biggest changes to the production process, the new front-end module.
  10. 2016 Honda Civic production begins at Indiana plant (updated w/ production line videos)

I was at the event yesterday and got a plant tour afterwards, I'm working on uploading more video of that tonight. http://www.thetailpipe.com/WPindex/?p=953 - Video of the event
  11. 2016 Honda Civic production begins at Indiana plant (updated w/ production line videos)

I believe the coupe and Si are only manufactured in Canada.
  12. 2016 Honda Civic Coupe not expected at LA Auto Show, but maybe SEMA?

Did I miss the December/January announcement? Last I heard it was "winter", which runs Dec 21 to Mar 20. We could be waiting until Detroit to see the coupe/Si. Here's Honda's SEMA announcement...
  13. So Si body styles??

Something I've been thinking about a little more. Would it make sense to have both sedan AND hatch Si, being as they both have four usable doors? The hatch would offer more versatility and compete more closely with competitors Focus ST and GTI. Maybe we see coupe and hatch Si versions? :dunno:
  14. 2016 Civic Si turbo - welcome or not?

I can't think of anything they can do to keep up with the competition without going turbo. I wouldn't be bothered by an Si turbo.
  15. Questioning Both Coupe and Sedan Si Variants

    1) I was talking specifically about the Si, as that is what was asked about originally. 2) I didn't say it wasn't doable, I said it would cost more. The post I was replying to made mention that it wouldn't cost more to offer an Si in every body type. Do you work for Honda? If so, please tell...
  16. 2016 Civic chassis cutaway model

    Isn't that a Fit??
  17. 2016 Civic chassis cutaway model

I assume the colors also show different strengths of the material.
  18. 10th gen Civic chassis is lighter?

Yes, 68 pounds lighter according to Honda.
