I was "building" a Civic on Honda's website and noticed they have two all-season mats listed as options, a regular and a high-wall. Maybe they finally got the message?
Fuel economy is likely to suffer in the Si as well as needing to pump premium. I'm thinking leather and other bells and whistles of the Touring won't be available on the Si either.
Try a Nissan or Mitsubishi CVT (I've driven both) and you'll understand the winding and droning comment. I've also driven a Toyota CVT that behaved very similar to what you are saying your Civic does.
I had a color similar (maybe a little darker) on a 2003 MINI. To my eye it showed dirt/salt more than other colors, particularly because of how much depth the color had when clean... it would dull a lot when dirty.
I vaguely remember swirl marks, but not as bad as black.
I never tried touching...
The best I got was a "few months" for the coupe, but unfortunately there was also mention of a delay in the Si due to a couple snags still in the production process. No details were shared about what the delay is related to or what timeline that might put it on. As an enthusiast I sure hope...
I was at the event yesterday and got a plant tour afterwards, I'm working on uploading more video of that tonight.

Did I miss the December/January announcement? Last I heard it was "winter", which runs Dec 21 to Mar 20. We could be waiting until Detroit to see the coupe/Si.
Here's Honda's SEMA announcement...
Something I've been thinking about a little more. Would it make sense to have both sedan AND hatch Si, being as they both have four usable doors? The hatch would offer more versatility and compete more closely with competitors Focus ST and GTI. Maybe we see coupe and hatch Si versions? :dunno:
1) I was talking specifically about the Si, as that is what was asked about originally.
2) I didn't say it wasn't doable, I said it would cost more. The post I was replying to made mention that it wouldn't cost more to offer an Si in every body type. Do you work for Honda? If so, please tell...
