I first had 30% and then had them rip that out and put in 20%. They did not remove the deck to install on either occasion.

My touring also exhibits this behavior immediately after the car is started, but only then. If the car has been running it has no issues. I suspect they skimped on hardware, and code optimization.

Did you pull the lining off the trunk door? you should see some there, and if you get in your trunk, you can look in to the holes in the exposed metal, you should see foam in there now. And if you cant see it, it should be there if you reach in and feel with your fingers. They also likely...

This isn't something that just affects some tourings. It is ALL tourings. Furthermore, since Honda has no official fix or recommendations for dealers I would suspect they haven't changed anything in the manufacturing process.

My doctor's policy was that I had to make an appointment before he would write a note. When was there I just told him that my eyes were really sensitive and asked him to write a note approving the use of 35% tint. I was in and out in about 20 minutes.

With a note from a physician 35% is legal in the front(very easy to get, which is why people really dont get bothered for 30). I vote 30% all around at the least :D

I have 30 all around on my new civic and my previous car had 20 all around. I haven't had any issues. I also plan to rip the 30 out and replace with 20 again. 30 has been too light for me with the light interior.

If it were me I would have it repainted. However, before doing so I would also take a few pictures in different lights and make sure they know what the expectations on.

They have a pretty good sound guy. As far as I was told... they removed the deck added dynamat, added dynamat in the trunk, and foam around the brake light. Yes, this is a design flaw... but that doesn't mean they can't put a fix in place.
