  1. OsirisPalko 17 SI build

Long time since I updated here. Sold the kzcmc and clutchmasters kit, got the vland sequential headlights, and 1 yr later started slipping in 5th... so I just ordered the rv6 clutch kit, another kzcmc, and related goodies. Time to get busy brothers.
  2. Possible belt tensioner sound?

I would have to find the package, but it is in my garage trash which hasn't been emptied yet, For my 17 civic si (1.5T L17B7) I'm 90% sure it's 31110-5AG-Z01 Naturally a new belt will be more taught, I had to wrestle it on there. I got everything else routed, then released tension and wrapped...
  3. Possible belt tensioner sound?

Problem fixed with oem belt (instead of aftermarket). I should have known better. Curse the 'supply' shortages.
  4. Possible belt tensioner sound?

Howdy yall Up to 88k miles now, tensioner showed past due for a belt replacement so I grabbed a mistoboshi brand one because oem availability is slim near me, I replaced the belt, the hasport motor mounts mean I was able to do it just from the engine bay and the flap held by two clips on the...

  10. Is it worth it to put lowering springs on high mileage struts?

Honestly bro I have driven an 8th gen with solid motor mounts and bc coilovers and it wasn't that bad personally, I would be alright dailying the setup on a 10th gen I have an idea of what spring rate etc My issue is that the car is 83k miles and climbing and a refresh with lowering springs...

I've also got the pro civic grille, my bumper is borked so the tabs ripped but overall it works and looks better than oem
  12. 1.5T Need to quiet down my exhaust

The idle rpm is based on the coolant temperature, the best thing you can do in this scenario aside from replacing the exhaust is to turn on and start going, not sitting 5 mins to warm up etc.. it'll be fine. Ps if you live in a city people are probably used to it. When I lived in a quieter area...
  13. Help installing RV6 drop in turbo — no instructions

There's no instructions because it's "drop in", the same steps as replacing an oem turbo. Don't forget to use new gaskets and to prime the turbo oil channel so it doesn't spin dry on first start

  17. Is it worth it to put lowering springs on high mileage struts?

Howdy, I've got a 17 civic SI with about 82k miles right now. I wanted to lower it, and I wasn't sure if it would be worthwhile to throw lowering springs on for some time or if I should go full coilovers right away. A local 10th gen si to me has just as many miles but has been riding on D2...
