We have this issue with both of our key fobs on a 2016 Civic. I’ve checked those contacts you mentioned gprentice and there is no issue with them not making contact.
Both of our key fobs routinely don’t work even though we’ve switched out the batteries on numerous occasions.
I can’t tell you...
Hi Everyone, I put a set of Ruffino Boss wheels (18x8 42mm offset) om my wife’s 2016 Honda Civic Touring.
The tire/wheel installer (no longer in business) supplied Hub Centric Wheel Rings (73-64.1) with the wheels. One of them cracked and I need to replace it but am having a difficult time in...
Thanks bigdogpapa, are you running them year round? Also how are you finding the noise levels on them. The Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric All Seasons were great for two summers noise wise and then just started gettting louder and louder.
Oh ya I know. This time around though I want to be able to get my full use out of the tires and get short changed because I can't stand the racket they make.
Hi Everyone,
I’m looking for a tire recommend in the 245-40-18 to replace the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric All Seasons that are currently on it. The Goodyears still have tread left on them but have become noisier than an all terrain tire over the past year.
I’m looking for an all season that...
Thanks for the info.....I drive her car too sometimes without her there so I need to be paired as well.
In most cars I've owned with Bluetooth, there's always been a box to check in the Bluetooth settings to make one phone the priority over the other. I'm baffled that this is missing on the Civic.
When pairing cell phones in the Civic, is there a way to prioritize which one will connect if both of us are in the car?
She wants hers to be the one to connect as she uses her phone far more than I do.
It doesn't seem to be based on which phone is paired first because mine was second but...
Had them in my wife's car now for a couple of weeks. I stand corrected on the flimsier feeling I mentioned in my previous post.
They're more pliable so have a better fit. So far they meet my expectations.
Ya the frequencies might fight with each other. That doesn't explain he taking the fob & still getting no reaction while physically pressing the unlock button.
My wife just recently bought a 2016 Honda Civic Touring model.
Today she was a the grocery store & couldn't get back into the car.
The doors were locked & didn't respond to her pulling on the handle with the proximity fob in her pocket.
She tried to unlock the doors with the fob & then called...
What's the consensus on Collonite 845 when it gets on the black rubber trim or black textured plastic.
I've heard some people say it comes off easy while others say you're left with the white chalky haze.
They need the back part of the panel too. I don't mind matte black or satin black, but the gloss piano black is a pain in the ass....so I don't mind the matte chrome piece.
I was a big Zaino fan, but making the job easier is my motto now. I still have the Zaino All-In-One that I use occasionally. I like that it doesn't leave any chalky residue when applied to matte finishes, rubber trim & black textured plastics.
How is the Meguire's NXT in the chalky residue dept?
The 100ml bottle cost $23.
You need 40ml for an average 4 door vehicle including all paint, glass, trim & wheels.
So you'd get two & a half times per 100ml & it lasts around 3 months.
You can buy bigger bottles (500ml for $75 & 1 litre for $139)...
