I revive this 2nd gear grind on my 2020 with 2600 miles only when it’s cold out. After 10 min of driving its smooth as ever but still bothers me. My 8thgen did this as well but I got the 2nd and 3rd replaced under warranty and it never got worse over 12 years. It’s kind of hard to avoid shifting...
I'm removing my spoiler soon and curious about the black weather stripping that underneath the OEM spoiler. Is that reusable or do i have to scrape it off and reapply? I can't tell from the pic if it was adhered to the trunk or if it just has a rough texture to it.
I just bought a ktuner v1.2 for my 2020 Si. So are the “safest” tunes the base maps that come with ktuner? I have no interest in getting tons of power. Just looking to liven up the current drive and get rid of rev hang.
Thank you for the prompt replies. I am in the process of buying a used ktuner v1.2 from someone currently. Once I get it in possession I will buy the phearable tune.
It was based on the reviews that 2020 Si owners have posted on various threads/FB posts.
I had an 8thgen Si for 12 years and remembered how jerky my shifts were before my hondata tune. So I’m looking to do the same for my 10thgen but using ktuner with the phearable tune. I just want a better...
I have a 2020 Si. Has there been any improvements to address the hesitation/jerkiness of rolling in and off the throttle with rev hang disabled? That’s been the only thing keeping me from buying ktuner and the phearable tune.
I’m looking to get ktuner simply to get rid of rev hang. But since I have a 2020 Si, it sounds like I should hold off due to hesitation when rolling back on to the throttle?
Looks great. While you had it off, were you able to see if that red accented part comes off easily? I have a white Si and was thinking about wrapping it in CF.
Right. I’m not trying to extract a lot of power. I would be happy simply without without the rev hang and a few hp bump. I don’t want clutch issues anyways.
