Honda part number?

Read through this and other similar threads-- has anyone yet found a simple effective trick for getting those damned clips to release? Is there some specific tool that works better than the arsenal of implements I've tried using without much success?

I'm not doubting/disputing/arguing with you, but I've seen enough folks complaining of SOME sort of issue to give me nagging concern. I'm hoping your experience -- easy normal install -- is entirely typical and accurate. Thx

I just sorta assumed you bought an eBay "TYPE R" and then commandeered the S from SPORT to replace that R. That was *my* plan-- now I need to go re-look....
