In talking to Hondata about a setup for my CVT EX-T it was revealed that they dyno tested with the injen SRI and logged at 1-2% hp gain. UGH. At least it sounds good.
Only issue is that PRL has said their catted DP throws check engine lights and they cant figure it out......I suspect all will throw light then.
Check engine sucks because the car will run rich to protect itself.
these are turbo cars, if you want to make a quick start off the line you have to build boost in the engine. Hold the brake, revs up to about 3000 rpm hold for a second or two so that the boost builds, release the brake and go.
On turbo race cars some are spraying nitrous to spool the turbo at...

First time the dealer only hand tightened the oil drain plug....3 days later on side of road with all the oil on the ground....new turbo and all new panels and cover that were soaked with...
You mentioned that you hit a torque limit. I have read a few others mentioning this as well in reference to the CVT. Is your opinion that the CVT is limited to, or should not exceed to avoid failure, 220 ft. lbs. tq.?
Or something like this and weld those tip to to a Y pipe and a single muffler.
Easy option is to get two aftermarket mufflers and cut out the stock ones and weld on these tips with the insert. This one happens to be carbon fiber...
