I’m 53. Honda’s and Acuras most of my life with a couple of Mazda’s thrown in. Anxiously awaiting 11th gen Si and really hoping for a hatch option.
If the Si and the Type R maintains the vast separation in power then sales cannibalization is simply not an issue. The GTI doesn't greatly affect the Golf R, The previous Focus ST vs RS, BMW M3 vs regular 3 series and I could go on. When Honda dropped the coupe they made the statement that the...
I’m holding out for an Si Hatchback which I fully expect to happen since they dropped the coupe. I also think the new Si will be no later than spring 2022.
I actually believe we will see the 11th Gen as a 2021 Model Year. The Type R and Si usually follow one year later and the 2022 11th gen Type R has already been spied with camo. With the pandemic, what would normally be a fall release will likely be pushed into spring 2021 for the new Civic...
I know that can be frustrating. I tell ya though it seems like the Civic Si doesn't depreciate hardly at all. Low mileage 17's still going for well over 20K even though their original MSRP was 23,900. It's crazy. At the price they are asking for those used ones it simply makes better sense...
I'm leaning to the Sport Hatch manual in Blue over the Si. They made some good changes on the Si but the body still looks a bit off with the tacked on style pieces in the rear and the HDMI exhaust. The Sport Hatch rear just works, probably because of the black rear diffuser and proper twin...
It probably works much like the Hyundai Veloster and Volkswagen GTI. Just look at the video reviews of those. Hopefully it is something that can be enabled or disabled on the infotainment like you can on those other cars.
That's probably a good thing. Maybe they tuned it a bit more for performance than economy. I'm hoping for a reduction in rev hang etc. They did modify the final drive ratio for better acceleration so hoping it means it really does feel faster. Should be interesting to see some reviews when...
Thanks for the update. I think most of these give what I was hoping for (Honda Sensing and the LEDs etc) though they could have went a little further on the rear bumper treatment on the sedan. I feel they just kind of took the cheap way out to modify the "plastic style piece" instead of the...
So looking at Autotrader I see numerous 10th Gen Si’s for sale with very little miles. My question to the group is what is leading so many to part with this car so early in its life ? In comparison extremely few to none Accord Sport 2.0MTs out there used. Seems very striking to me.
Yeah, I don’t mind the front ones. It’s the hideous rear ones that look so tacked on that I just can’t get past. I’m really so disappointed they didn’t change the rear of the sedan to more closely match the beautiful coupe. I guess I’ll wait until next year.
Must be the Canadian version on top with Navigation. Never understood why they are optioned so much better with LED lights, heated steering wheel and Navigation for about the same price as the US model after currency conversion.
Saw this article from last week and it's really got me excited if true. The captioned photo used is obviously old but the article is based on recent spy shots. Would be awesome.

Wow, that really is a great deal and it looks freaking amazing. Well done. Do ya mind giving the name of the place in Knoxville that you had that done. I only live about 40miles away from there. Thanks.
