  1. Why buy a car you can't afford?

My cousin is a used car sales manager, He has told me some insane stories of what people have done. Like trade a car in that they owe $15k on and the dealership gives them $9k and they throw that on the $6k on the used car and person takes out 7 year loan on a car worth $15k that is $21k loan...
  2. Traded my 17 SI for a 14 BRZ (driving comparision & K-tuner unit for sell)

This is great to read, i just sold a BRZ and want to step into a coupe Si. I really don't hardly race anymore so figure it would be more practical and if do want to do an autox or a little track night the Si will still work well for that, it would be a better balance for me and more practical...

Right now locally where i live dealerships are being emptied out, they are paying alot for used cars right now, as a matter a fact they are buying cars from facebook marketplace and craigslist, it happened to me, if my BRZ would have had a perfect carfax it would have went to a dealership for...
  4. Why buy a car you can't afford?

i once was watching Suze Orman financial advisor on TV, she said a statement 25 years ago that really stuck with me. "The average American works an extra 6-8 years in their life to pay off the interest they have accrued throughout life" I was like thats BS!! Then i did the math.... mortgage...

The car market locally has exploded! Used car lots are being emptied and people are literally fighting over cars. i had 3 fighting over my car on craigslist. Some auto dealers in the country are being slammed financially while others are slammed with customers, Its crazy!!

  17. BRZ trade in for Type R

Well, i got a chance to test drive a Type R last week. It was impressive! very comfortable etc. The rev match was a little weird at first but got used to it quickly, Great car!! Gonna drive an Si next if i can find one, kinda scarce locally atm. especially a coupe, i did drive one last...
  18. BRZ trade in for Type R

Well, the price of the Type R is good but my trade in is horrific due to being a BRZ and winter time. :( 2 places said they really don't even want my car at this time in the winter. So selling it outright would be the best thing then throw that on the R.
  19. BRZ trade in for Type R

yeah i bet! Yeah, i think i am gonna wait till early spring to make my decision, no use driving a new or nice Type R in a snow belt for this winter. Plus selling mine right now in the winter isn't gonna work to well and this car has already seen snow and salt for 4 winters , one more isn't...
  20. BRZ trade in for Type R

Edit: granted this is more focused on rally racing, it's still a thing. Scroll down to "front wheel drive" (it's in all caps). LOL i imagine so! Yeah the RWD is prob one of the items that makes the BRZ a better racecar than an Si out of the box but that being said the Lightning lap...
