  1. Biggest/tallest tire I can fit on my stock EXT for deep snow?

Funny question I know, I live in New England. We get deep snow in the winter. I'm tired of bottoming out everywhere I go(yes the suspension is stock). What's the biggest/tallest tire that will fit without rubbing to give me some more lift for winter/snow driving? I have 16" steel rims already if...

You can get a full set, front, back and trunk for less than front and back mats from weathertech.

  4. Drivers seat right side bolster on the back rest squeaks and creaks, picture attached.

In the attached picture the spot in the seat that I'm pointing to is where it is squeaking and creaking. I took my Civic to the dealership and they told me that there is nothing they can do they will not replace the seat for me. They said other Civics have this same problem. My civic didnt make...
  5. Winter Wheels / Tires - Everything you want to know

Thanks for the compliment! I can't speak for how the tires behave on the road because I only put them on to test for fitment. I didn't even drive on them in my driveway. I can say I watched a lot of YouTube videos and read a lot of reviews and no one had any complaints about them. Couple that...
  6. Engine Grind/Rattle, Loud Deceleration Sound, Drilling Acceleration Noise

I've only only had the grind noise on start up a few times. I have over 13,000 miles on my ride. Honestly I wouldn't worry. Many other Honda models have had same same grind noise on start up. If it is a issue or will be in the future I'm sure honda will fix it. For now I'd enjoy your new civic!
  7. Documenting 2016 civic ex-t issues and dealer experience

I'm with you, I'm not sure I feel comfortable having my dash torn apart just for a intermittent dash noise. It's funny you mention your door needed to be re aligned. I had to bring mine in as well for the same thing. It was my drivers side front door.
  8. Engine Grind/Rattle, Loud Deceleration Sound, Drilling Acceleration Noise

The winding and drilling noises I'm almost certain are the turbo just doing its thing. I take it this is your first turbo vehicle?

  11. Winter Wheels / Tires - Everything you want to know

My winter kicks. General Altimax arctic tires on steelies. $660 out the door here in the USA from tire rack. I thought I would hate steelies but I like the Mad Max look!
  12. Anyone prefer the 2.0 vs the 1.5t?

I dont think he's giving 1.5t to much credit at all its true.
  13. Anyone prefer the 2.0 vs the 1.5t?

The only reason I would get the 2.0 is to get the manual. I almost walked out of the dealership because they didn't have a 1.5t manual. The 1.5t has better fuel economy more power more cool factor more everything. I went with the 1.5t with the cvt obviously and haven't looked back and never will.
  14. Steel wheel torque?

Thanks this is my first honda.
  15. Steel wheel torque?
