  1. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

Kev, You bone stock w/Race Chip, funny? Since you want endurance and still decent performance, take a look at the Tire Rack reviews of Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate, a fine all season. Iā€™d still have mine on after 15k but switched to PS4S for dragon. They were fab especially wet, just as good dry...
  2. What gas do you use in your Type R?

I use 100% helium in my tires. All that math in big boy school wasted except I calculated each tire weighs .87 lbs less due to lift.:drive:
  3. Post your aftermarket wheel/tire set up

Hate? OPT7 look like neon cinnamon candy, not extreme, sequential turns.
  4. What did you do to your Type R today?

My tool is not bi but Iā€™m perfectly ok knowing yours is, whatever works.
  5. What did you do to your Type R today?

That should work nicely. Son has new Mach1 and used reg glass mount for Uniden R8 and U3000 Dashcam (already saved blame for truck lane intrusion).
  6. What did you do to your Type R today?

Try a Blendmount? I have Redline 360c and a trip-pane mirror overlay, rock solid, U1000 Dashcam fits glass right beside.
  7. Phearable stage 2 tune

Agree, PRC is PITA. We have 93 in FL but no E85 within 80 miles in NW panhandle. I did slip some about 1.5Gals and it helped.
  8. Phearable stage 2 tune

Nothing wrong with anything you said. Custom rocks but consider thisā€¦(opinion, so dispute at will). FK8s with same exact mods/components with same tune arenā€™t that much different. I think a custom tune would certainly make owner feel better but likely wonā€™t achieve significant gains, 5-10...
  9. What did you do to your Type R today?

Cool, thanks for sharing. Handy if you go wide, ZL1 works for 255/35-19.
  10. What did you do to your Type R today?

Today I added Battle Management/Egress System, HP gain TBD.
  11. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

Ummm, if youā€™re on 255/35-20s, your sidewalls arenā€™t 35mm, 3.5ā€ maybe? Maybe you meant 35 series, thatā€™s the percentage of width to determine sidewall height or what is often called thickness. 255 x .35=89.25mm aka 8.925 cm aka 3.51ā€ but glad you like them. I went with 19ā€ x 9.5 with 255/35...

Family Modessey: She's going to soil her Lu Lu Lemons in the morning with this on the dashā€¦ once itā€™s light enough to notice the resemblance. šŸ˜Ž
  13. What did you do to your Type R today?

Removed majority of D1-RT particles, op ck good!
  14. What did you do to your Type R today?

Phearable Tuna Opinion Phishing Installed FK8 Multi-tune Revision today via Hondata Flash Pro. Had Phearable 2 with Race Torque Mapping and it had spine tingling shift burbles (tune built in pops & burbles is exclusive to FL5). The burbles I had are gone using Race 1 (tune 3 of 5) that support...
  15. What did you do to your Type R today?

Clean picture. After jacking wheels and deep clean, tried this new wheel wax, looks good, curious how long. Show season first event this weekend so deep clean in progress.
  16. What did you do to your Type R today?

Added power increasing custom accouterments to match Hot Wheels theme. Do accouterments come in any other flavor? Minty fresh-fishy donā€™t cut it. :innocent:
  17. What did you do to your Type R today?

One vote cast (pun intended) for classic gunmetal vs trendy bronze. Both good choices, your build your way.
  18. What did you do to your Type R today?

Thanks for sharing. I have about a dozen, low stock for me. Pre-COVID I used to give one away every show/meet to a youngster excited about Honda to cultivate our next-gen. I still do that occasionally but these went from a few bucks to over $10 delivered and Iā€™m generous but not wealthy. šŸ˜Ž
  19. What did you do to your Type R today?

Got ā€˜HOT WHEELSierā€™! Butt dyno calculates this vinyl adds 43.6 HP. Now I wonā€™t be confused with my local bud who has very similar R, no more, ā€œI saw ya thā€™uther dayā€. Unique, I nique too. May change custom plate to match theme, not many Florida choices available. Subtle not in vocab.
