My gf converted her Si to the sequential LED headlights and I was thinking about converting the stock Si headlights to HID and putting them on the Type R. Is that possible? Has anybody done this yet?

I'll have to check that but I don't know if the service manual will have what I need in terms of figuring out like what kind of signal it sends and voltages and etc.

Probably. Really I just need to find a wiring diagram. It can't be that complicated as what I see when I open the dash is that the R+ switch and the VSA switch have their own wire, I just don't know what kind of signal it sends. My guess would be that if I had a relay switch that tied...

Yeah, but just not $150. I just have no reference for what it does and how it does it. I'd like to find out if there's some diagram somewhere or some kind of white paper I can look at since all I can tell it's doing is just sending a signal to a solenoid that switches something off and on.

They do, but I don't want to Hondata my car to get it to do that. I was looking for some way to do it without having to do that much modification to it. I was hoping to figure something out and share it with the class.

Is there any literature I can read on how the system gets signal to the ECU to make this switch? I don't imagine it's that difficult to program a raspberry pi with some solenoids to get it to do that, but I have nothing to work with. Anybody have any idea?
