  1. Spoon bump steer kit

So far so good and I've tracked the car about 10 track events so far...
  2. P0128 Code

The more I read the response the more I'm leaning towards removing it tbh! I want to keep tracking the car and if this may contribute to more severe issues down line, I'd rather take it out now, its a quick fix. I'm planning on putting a radiator by the end of the month, might as well pull it...
  3. Rev Match and Emission P0128

Sorry boys its neither.... I've run into the same issues with my spoon t-stat... Spoon even sent me another one and to rule out a faulty one... basically means that the engine is not getting up to temperature quick enough (for the conditions the car is in), which is the design of the Spoon...
  4. Spoon Thermostat CEL - P0128

I just wrote a post about the same issue, I got the same P0128 code. I reflashed by disabled the P0128 code and everything ran perfect with no codes. I spoke with Spoon about it and after some data logging which was sent back to Japan, Spoon gave me another T-stat to rule out a faulty Tstat...
  5. P0128 Code

Looking for some opinions with this issue I'm having, I replaced my thermostat with a spoon t-stat, everything was good until two days after the install. The car kicked back an engine code reading P0128, I took it back to the tech who installed it, we ran tests and the t-stat is working, cooling...
  6. J’s Racing 70rs street

If I may insert my two cents, I have a PRL DP and FP on stock exhaust, when I installed the DP (non-catted) I was worried about the sound but it didn't get too loud, just a tad deeper to the stock exhaust noise. Once I installed the FP the exhaust got significantly deeper and louder, but not...
  7. PEEFREE's Civic Type R FK8 Build thread - Track / Street

I installed my Termostat and so far everything has been running great no issues, perfect fitment..... temps are slightly cooler, but without a radiator I don't foresee major changes... I am interested in the acuity hoses they just released, I think in combination with those items you'll see...
  8. Spoon bump steer kit

I had a shop do the install, from what I've heard is that its not too hard to do you "HAVE" to know what your doing though, from what I read in the civc x forums your main areas of concern is the steering column and the gas tank when you lower the sub frame.
  9. Spoon bump steer kit

I have spoon springs, front and rear rigid collars and so far the car feels amazing! I want the stiff plate but its a cool $1,000!!! :-( Spoon is working with KW to develop coil overs which are super nice but I'm sure the price tag will follow
  10. Spoon bump steer kit

Alright folks, after a long delay we finally!! Installed the bump steer kit, I had andy over at socal. motorworks install them and everything went flawless, I must say it has improved the driving experience right off the bat, an alignment is definitely needed though after install, but cornering...

  12. Catless downpipe exhaust smell

Hey Folks, Need some help, AGAIN!! 13. Spoon bump steer kit

I was wondering the same thing myself, I haven't tracked it yet, but I do run canyon runs and really haven't felt it. I did purchase it since it corrects some of the suspension geometry, but I really won't know what the difference is until it's on the car. :-( I know a few other people have...
