  1. Recommendations for floor jack and jack stands?

Those are the one thing I do have as it's garaged for the winter and I don't leave the E-brake on all that time.
  2. 2023 CTR

I am not digging that hood scoop at all. Not sure if its the size, shape or location on the hood. :puke:
  3. Recommendations for floor jack and jack stands?

Thanks for all the recommendations guys. Those pucks are the kinda thing that I don't know about and would want to use. I really appreciate all the help.
  4. Recommendations for floor jack and jack stands?

I'm gonna take the plunge and start busting knuckles on some simple car maintenance like Oil changes; tire rotation; etc. Seems like the first thing I need is a proper floor jack and jack stands. Any recommendations from you more experienced guys?
  5. What did you do to your Type R today?

Drove it aggressively on some rural roads for a couple hours along with my buddy in his '85 AMG wagon. Then rashed a wheel parking at his house afterword. #buzzkill
  6. Type R and Sport Touring Hood Compatibility

Only if you plan to close the hood at some point.
  7. The Soul of the Si

I can appreciate that the Type R (10th gen) looks aren't for everyone, but you didn't drive it. Which is where it goes light years beyond an Si. Having said that, no way are they worth the markups dealers are putting on them.
  8. Anyone disturbed by the Type-R that was split in two?

Interesting. The US model doesn't have the driver assist options and I prefer it that way. I cannot stand having the car decide to do something other than follow the input the driver is providing. Drives me nuts in my wife's Suburu when it goes all "nanny-car" on you. I'm sure the studies...
  9. 2020 Civic Type R Reviews Compilation

"... best front wheel drive car ever made."
  10. CTR at (or below?!!) sticker NICE LIST!

These stories make me feel like a unicorn. I called exactly one dealer and paid MSRP back in May '19. I know the market is hotter now for a number of reasons, but I feel for you guys who have been on these long journeys.
  11. Camping with the CTR

How about this guy for all your camping activities?
  12. Can you post a tinted r

CBP with 20% Tint/50% on windshield
  13. You've got $50,000. Would you still have purchased a Type R??

Equally practical. Equally flashy. About the same price as a CTR. In retrospect, I shoulda gone with the Queen Latifah taxi. https://www.fossilcars.com/ford/crown-victoria-taxi-movie-car/998004
  14. Second car? Daily?

Ford Flex -- Cause you can't haul a drum set and a PA in the back of the CTR. :headbang:
  15. When was the last time you saw another Civic Type R on the road...?

Yesterday. Beautiful Boost Blue rolled past me in Mason, OH. Other than that, I've only seen one other CBP in town.
  16. What mode do you use the most?

Since I drive mine pretty much exclusively for fun, its in Sport mode until I get to the good roads. Then it's +R. Comfort mode gets used very rarely.
  17. What did you do to your Type R today?

Your fitment is envious too. I hate to be that guy, but I'm gonna... wheels/tire specs, please? And lowering springs or stock?
  18. What did you do to your Type R today?

I'm generally not a fan of white wheels but with the white ground effects kit and white body, that looks super sharp.
  19. eBay listing for used 2021 LE CTR - buyer's remorse or trying to make a quick buck?

I voted Flip. How can you have buyers remorse if you never drove it? (16mi on the odometer). Plus the plastic on the seats and the sticker in the window?
  20. Calif. mandating all cars sold by 2035 are zero-emission

I thought we'd be talking more about the mandate and its possible impact on car culture? Not crapping on CA despite how easy it is. For the record, I'm a native Orange-county guy. But haven't lived in the state in some time. So it wasn't my intent to start a hate thread.
